    MacBook can’t connect to wifi after waking from sleep

    In order to get my Mac to connect to wifi after closing the lid I have to restart it this is very annoying my Mac will see the wifi networks sometimes and just say that the internet is not available even though my phone is connected to it and after a restart it works fine with the wifi is there any fix to this

    Couldn't delete photos so I restarted my phone, Now it won't turn back on.

    Was trying to free up space on my phone and deleted some photos however they don't show up in recently deleted and they reappear when I close photos and then reopen the app. I decided to restart my phone and now it won't turn back on.

    iCloud Photos Missing

    Ok so I've run into an odd problem and was hoping someone will maybe have had the same issue or have a resolution. So in my photos app, many photos are blank with the iCloud icon in the bottom right. I also get the error when clicking on the photo "An error occurred while loading a higher resolution of the photo".

    The iPhone is an 8 and is running iOS 14.4. This issue also occurs on icloud.apple.com

    MacBook Air speakers have gone quiet.

    Hello, first post on here!

    Today, I have discovered that my MacBook Air (2020 model) speakers have gone quiet.

    I usually sit around three on the volume bar, which is more than enough for me usually, but today, I needed to go up to full volume, which gives out a just over moderate volume. For context, I was using Spotify when I found this out. It is the same effect on Music. Prior to my discovery, I had been using my AirPods with my Mac a few hours previously.

    Since finding this problem, I have restarted my Mac and reset the NVRAM (although I am not sure if I did this correctly - my settings hadn't changed, and my Mac had to be turned on manually). Neither has helped, and I am struggling to set up an chat/phone call appointment. My Apple store has been crazy busy all day every day, so setting an in-store appointment is something I want to leave as a last resort.

    I have yet to update to Big Sur 11.2.1, and Big Sur has negatively affected my fan if that info helps.

    Any help is appreciated! I just want my Mac to be normal again :(

    Using Lenovo USB-C Charger + Generic Hub with M1 MacBook Pro?

    I have the 13" MacBook Pro (M1 Version), and I was wondering, is it okay to connect the 65W Lenovo USB-C charger to the MacBook Pro? This charger is used to charge my ThinkPad (also USB-C). Link to the charger itself if it helps.

    Currently, I have this charger connected directly to a USB-C hub from Amazon (link), can I simply plug the hub into the MacBook (which also allows me to use the hub and charger together as the charge pass-through from the hub), or should I only use the Apple wall charger? I have a couple of these ThinkPad chargers so ideally, it would be convenient to use that charger and USB-C hub. I am just concerned about the safety and preventing any type of harm it can cause to the MacBook (if that is possible).

    I can understand this may be a bit of a "dumb" question, but I know USB-C can be a bit of an iffy subject on what is safe to use and what isn't so I figure I'd ask.

    when is my iPhones battery going to stop working?

    I have an iPhone 7 and honestly I don't have money to upgrade it rn or change it's battery, the battery condition is 70% but it's working well, I charge it every like 5 hours and it almost never goes from high percentages to extremely low percentages, at what percentage of condition is it going to be a problem?

    What do I do if I remember my apple ID and password, but I forgot the phone number associated with it?

    Basically the situation is as thus

    I desperately need to get access to my old iCloud account. The fucking stupid thing is, I remember both my Apple ID and my iCloud password. The issue is the two step authentication.

    I no longer have access to that device. When I try to verify without that it requires that I verify my identity by putting my old phone number in.

    Only problem is, that was like five years ago. I have no idea what my old phone number is.

    Is there anyway I can find that?

    Please help

    Installing macOS high sieera on external usb drive

    I don't mean blacking out, it straight up turns off. It's very inconvenient, and most of the time I'm not even outside the app.

    After reopening, another app randomly re-installs?? I didn't offload or delete it..

    Just upgraded from an iPhone 6S to an iPhone 12 mini, and natural language entry in Reminders doesn't work on the new phone.

    Hey! So overall I'm loving the new phone, but as the title says, natural language entry stopped working in Reminders. It worked on my old phone, and it works on my Mac, but not on the new 12 mini. If it matters, it's set to English, and I'm in the U.S. I've tried force quitting the app and restarting the phone. Are there any other things I can do to get it working?

    iPhone popped up an "out of storage" warning, and apps are failing for lack of storage or memory, but Settings shows 60 gb free.

    I'm just back online after almost three weeks camping in the Grand Canyon. I embarked on the trip with the plan of continually copying photos and videos from my DSLR and action camera into my 256gb iPhone 12 Mini and 256gb iPad Mini 5. However, that plan really didn't work well at all. It had worked fine in testing at home, copying SD cards and photos, but when I tried it in actual production volumes, it always gave an out of memory error, even copying just one or two gigabytes at a time. I couldn't copy a single video from my action camera, and when copying photos in the Photos app it would always say I didn't have enough memory to copy all photos; it would accept a varied amount at a time but really never more than a couple dozen photos, with each photo being about 40 megabytes in raw+jpeg files.

    Anyway, I'm now in a hotel room with wifi and trying to get my iCloud library updated to get these photos onto my Mac, but I once again can't even copy the last few days' photos into the phone. I tried with the Sony app and it got halfway through yesterday's photos before saying "out of memory." Moments later, I got a pop-up saying "out of storage" directing me to the settings app. The settings app says I've got 200.1 gb used (oddly that number increased by about two gigabytes for no apparent reason just while typing this post) and there's no "other" mystery or anything, more space than I expected taken by apps, less than should be by photos, but should be 56 gb free.

    Why is it saying "out of storage" with 20% of the storage free, and apps consistently fail if they try to copy more than a couple gigabytes in at a time?

    I just created a new account with a reputable online store (for shoes). I then signed into the website on my iPad and got a warning that the password has appeared in a data leak. My question is, does that mean that I happened to choose a password that someone else had once used and got leaked (I'd never used this password before)? (It is conceivable that someone else had used this password before as it was a dictionary word plus a two digit number.)

    Because I can't imagine how I could make an account which was immediately found in a data leak.

    I already changed to a different password (and did not get the warning a second time), but I just was a little worried if I should interpret the warning to mean that somehow my account was hacked as I was making it.

    Pls advise! Water damage on mac.. is it too far gone??

    Hi everyone, today I spilled a pretty large cups worth of water on my new laptop. I turned it off within a few minutes and put it upside down as everyone says to do.

    I checked on it a few hours later and found it had turned itself on. I know everyone says do not turn it on for at least a day or 2 and yet my computer had turned on by itself. When it was on i noticed the caps lock was stuck on and i couldn't log in, as well as a water stain on the screen. more annoyingly, now it won't stay off..

    Ive read lots of success stories where people spilled on their computer and after a few days keeping it off, like magic they work again. i am worried since mine turned on by itself, it caused further damage and won't come back from this.

    has anyone experienced a similar situation? what did you do? should i take it into the apple store asap or wait to see if it comes back?
