- Had a problem with the apple pencil being too slippery for my hands, didnt like the silicone protective tubes because I found them to be too bulky and made the magnetic connection weak. So I tried electrical shrink tubes. they are grippy, thin, didnt affect the magnet and very inexpensive.
- Update on my son’s first few steps on the ipad and procreate. This is the first image of a 12 page comic book he’s working on. The iPad really helped him get out what he’s been imagining. I posted a while ago and some of you wanted to see more. Cheers!

Posted: 26 Jan 2021 11:06 AM PST As the title implies my recently used in the past couple of days I have lost the ability to check the comments on posts outside of Text posts and self posts. I'm using it in a fully updated version of the default Safari app on my on my iPad and having the ability to check comments go away is both bizarre and cuts off like more than half of the road experience for me so I wanted to know if it was me like personally or if this is a phenomenon that Reddit is intentionally doing it for some reason. Sorry for the long run on post by text Darity is very low so it's easier for me to use speech to text then it is for me to type everything. Thanks [link] [comments]
How to prep an iPad for elderly? Posted: 26 Jan 2021 08:45 AM PST I'm getting an iPad for my mom in her 70s, who's not good with technology. What should I set, remove, install to make it as low maintenance and issue prone as possible? Her main uses will be messaging apps, random Internet searches, maybe some YouTube. Are there browsers that protect better from exploits/ads, etc.? Is there a smart way to make it impossible for her to spend any money on apps by mistake? Any tips and experiences highly appreciated. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Is it possible to change the side of the pages on the files app? Posted: 26 Jan 2021 01:51 PM PST I take notes on my Ipad air, but often, the palm of my hand (I'm right-handed) will make the page change which is very distracting. Right now, it is at the right side of my screen. Is it possible to change it to the left side? [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Jan 2021 01:07 PM PST Anyone else having formatting problems when making/editing google docs? When I try to open them in an attachment in an email, they are all out of whak, and I can't hand in a resume looking like this. [link] [comments]
Best Calendar Planner for iPad? Posted: 26 Jan 2021 06:56 AM PST I recently got my iPad and I'm looking for recommendations for an app that I can use as a planner. I don't care so much about writing down on the planner, but something that can be a little more organized than the reminders app. I have courses I take, so I want to be able to add in a daily/weekly planner based on my schedule for that and work, and then a to-do style list. Are there any apps out there that exist like that? I have notability, but I'd prefer an actual app that can send notifications and show up on a widget to display my events for the day. Moshi Versacover case falling out Posted: 26 Jan 2021 08:18 AM PST I just bought a Versacover case for my iPad 12'9. It cost nearly 100$, so I expected something that will keep my device secure, but the plastic frame around the screen is way too easy to take off - lifting corners doesn't require any force, and once you lift one off the iPad just kinda falls out. Does anybody have a similar case to tell if it's normal? [link] [comments]

Posted: 26 Jan 2021 12:13 PM PST What are the best Accessories for using a MacBook Pro and a iPad Air with sidecar. Is it enough to use the normal case for the iPad or is there something that is good instead? [link] [comments]
To my fellow illustrators, how are you finding paperlike? Posted: 26 Jan 2021 12:52 AM PST So I bought my iPad pro last month, I had been enjoying the experience on it for my art. I heard about paperlike and bought into it. First time use is amazing! For this part I'm not sure if it's just me so I want to hear your thoughts and experiences. After using it by drawing almost everyday I do enjoy the paperlike feel. But there was something bugging that I couldn't pin point. Almost like the uncanny valley effect you get at very good special FX where it looks amazing but something about is off. First I feel like it lessens the sensitivity of the screen, holding down on the screen to use the eye dropper seems more of a nuisance. Using gestures to zoom in and out seems to have a delay to activate. End the pen sensitivity has gone done and no I didn't change the curve settings [link] [comments]

Self-service iPad Kiosk CMS software Posted: 25 Jan 2021 05:42 PM PST I want to set up a Kiosk with an iPad for my business so that customers can view more information of products/services using the iPad in-store. Is there an app I can use to set this up? I've heard of the Kiosk Pro Plus but content management doesn't seem convenient. I need to be able to make changes at anytime and those changes automatically update remotely in multiple locations when there is internet connection, much like when you update a website, those updates are seen by everyone around the world. I also thought about creating a website and locking into that website with Kiosk Pro Plus but I'm wondering what website CMS (like Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix etc.) is able to download an entire website to be used offline with no functionality issues. Some of my stores won't have internet access all the time so the website will still have to work while offline. Thanks, any input is greatly appreciated! [link] [comments]
Question, how can I make it on my ipad calendar events can be viewed but not deleted? Posted: 25 Jan 2021 06:31 PM PST Under settings/screen time/content and privacy restrictions, I went into calendars and clicked "Don't allow." Yet when I give my kids the ipad, they're still able to delete events which is a HUGE potential problem. I want them to still be able to see the events so they know what's going on for the week but I can't risk my 4 year old accidentally moving or deleting things and us not finding out till it's too late. Thanks all! [link] [comments] |
