I’m trying to remember the name of a game on iOS

So there's this old game that took place in the future. You are out with your wife when a light comes down and a blast. You then wake up in a hospital and your wife is missing. You then have to find her and it's sorta like a puzzle game. You go around the world trying to find clues and you end up finding out she works in like a secret project. There was supposed to be a sequel but for whatever reason it never came out. Does anyone know what game I'm talking about? I think it came out in 2014 maybe 2013? It was really good

    Looking for action/rpg with progression

    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 07:37 AM PST

    Hey guys,

I really like Archero and have been playing it a bit but it is so slow to progress now that I am at chapter 8. I like the gameplay and the upgrade system. I just like getting loot. I am f2p and don't mind paying for initial purchase price but I normally stay away from iap. Do you guys have any favorites you can recommend?

    Thanks!

Is there any card or roguelite game on iOS that's as good or better than Dream Quest? Anything come close?

    Posted: 29 Jan 2021 05:22 PM PST

I love Dream Quest. I bought it a few years ago and I've probably sunk 200 or 300 hours into the game. Despite the shitty graphics, the gameplay kept me coming back for more.

But as I wrap up my Dream Quest journey and approach having only a few achievements left to gain, I'm left looking for a game to fill that void.

I don't know if it's possible; the indelible mark Dream Quest has left on me is quite strong.

    Anyway, enough romanticizing.

Here's a list of the games I've tried:

    • Meteorfall (it was OK)
    • Solitarica (loved it but it's ran it's course for me)
    • Card Thief (not my jam)
    • Slay the Spire (I liked this one a lot, but prefer the one-on-one combat in Dream Quest)
    • Onirim (didn't really like this one too much)
    • Card Crawl (didn't really care for this one too much)
    • Cardinal Quest 2 (wasn't a fan of the controls IIRC, but I also didn't give it much time, so perhaps there's something good there that I missed.

I'm also aware of Night of the Full Moon and I thought it was basically Dream Quest, but not nearly as good. I tried it a while ago and I just looked at some screenshots, and it's not at all what I remember, so perhaps they updated it since then.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
