    Ex-iPhone to Android now back to iPhone user.

    I was an initial iPhone user (OG, 3GS, 4S) then got bored with iOS and switched to android using a Moto X, Nexus 6, then most recently a OP6T.

    Main reason for switching back? iMessage and iOS 14. My entire family are iOS users except for me and using WhatsApp was getting old. Sold off the op6t and ordered iPhone 12.

    I must say, the hardware is fantastic. Smooth, fast, and responsive. Things that are better than my 6T? Haptics feel premium, stereo speakers, and even though the 12 has half the ram, it feels significantly faster than the 6t.

    Full disclosure here, my original moto x was my favorite all time phone followed closely by the whale of a phone, the nexus 6. That being said, the 12 is probably going to be in the running I have a feeling.

    Coming from Android to iOS 14 was super easy and found many things analogous. One thing I miss is swipe up on the right side of the screen to go back. Widgets are ok and hopefully will get better. Notifications are better on android so I am hoping improvements are coming.

    That being said I have 0 regrets switching back. I am impressed with the hardware and the software has become much more user friendly IMHO.
