- Is it possible that there is either a spy app installed on my iPhone 11, and how would I locate this app? Or can a device be placed in close range to extract data? I am looking to not only get rid of this but if possible have proof it exists.

| Iphone 11pro max Bluetooth issue Posted: 24 Nov 2020 11:15 PM PST Hi, my iphone is on the latest iOS version and since about 2 weeks ago, it started having issues with bluetooth. My main concern is connecting it to a car radio, headphones or bluetooth speaker. The volume of music is incredibly low even when i turn it up all the way. It gets loud for half a second if I turn the volume up fast, but then it's really low again. Soundcheck is turned off in settings, EQ is a preset I always used. Please help!! [link] [comments]  |

Sometimes it seems I'm not hearing my iMessage alert or seeing a banner. I often text with my wife who works nights while I just scroll through social meddia, Reddit, YouTube etc and I'll realize i haven't seen a reply from her in a while so I'll pop open iMessage and I'll see a new message sitting there that I don't remember seeing any alerts too. | Posted: 24 Nov 2020 07:03 PM PST Basically what the title says. I've been using an Iphone 5s since 2015 and I planned on using it until it died. This past week the touch screen stopped working. I tried restarting the phone by holding the lock and home buttons (since I couldn't swipe to turn it off normally) but the touchscreen still wouldn't work. Dropped it off at a repair shop to get the screen replaced but when I picked it up today they said replacing the screen still didn't fix the issue. They think it's some kind of problem with the board itself and recommended getting a new one. I just got an SE Gen 2 for a good deal and want to transfer the data from the old phone but I never backed up the phone to the cloud. Stupid oversight on my part, I know. I would create a new back up of the old phone using my computer, but the computer won't recognize the phone till I unlock it, which I can't do with the touchscreen broken. Any ideas? I saw a video of a guy who used a Lightning->USB-A adapter to plug his phone into a USB keyboard but that didn't work for me. I got the same "unlock phone to use accessories" message I got from plugging the phone into the computer. [link] [comments]  |

Technical info: iPhone 7 Plus/iOS 14.2 Issue: I can't send money unless I turn off the Settings->Screen Time->Downtime setting. How I discovered the issue: I have Screen Time->Downtime set to 9pm-7am. It happened to be 9:05pm. I was trying to send money through Apple Pay to someone I had successfully sent money before. When I pressed the Apple Pay option in the Messages app, the keyboard did not switch to the Apple Pay options (the amount and + and - buttons did not display). Attempted: I've looked in the "Always Allowed" section, and the Contacts and Messages apps are always allowed. I didn't see anything obviously related to Apple Pay. Thanks in advance! When someone messages me, their first message sent gets the read receipt in the exact second they send it and I won't get a notification. However, if they send messages after the first one, I get a notification and the read receipt doesn't appear for them. I don't have the iMessage app open nor do I have it open in the background when this happens. Happens frequently but also randomly. I've tried restarting, making sure I'm updated, closing iMessage, turning off read receipts and turning them back on after closing the iMessage app. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you in advance. | iPhone XS stuck in bootloop, now "restore loop" Posted: 24 Nov 2020 11:38 AM PST iPhone XS running iOS 14.2 Purchased from T-mobile USA circa Oct 2019. A couple weeks ago my phone started bootlooping after a crash. It would just show the Apple logo, then flicker off, then show the Apple logo again for maybe 5-10 seconds, then flicker off again. I think this was a few days after the latest iOS update, and my phone may have been close to full (don't remember for sure but people seem to think this can cause issues). I switched to an old iPhone 7 as backup until I figured this out. I tried restoring it using iTunes on a PC starting last week. After that failed (both "update" and "restore"), now it bootloops but always going to the "restore" screen telling me to plug it into a computer. I tried using 3utools, and when I run a "pro flash" from DFU mode, it gets to 21% complete and fails with Error 4013: Unexpected device state "Recovery" expected "RestoreOS". This appears to be the same thing that happens with iTunes. Any idea what in the world is going on and how I can fix it? Text messages being sent to me aren't showing up in my notifications tab and whatever message I get is being read automatically. I only see them once I go back on the message app. This has lead me to have unread messages for hour until I decide to go back on the message app. My phone is updated to the most recent update. I answered once and it immediately hung up. They are all a different number, and I block each one, and a couple hours later get another call. It is driving me crazy, plus it pauses any video stream I am watching on my iMac. Googling 844 area code returned this 'A prefix of 8 represents calls that are paid for by the recipient, rather than the caller. When people think of toll free calling, they usually think of 800 numbers, but there are many other options that function in the same way.' Is it possible to block an entire area code? I had it inspected by many iphone repair shops near me and they all told me that the cpu is broken in half from the fall and there is nothing I can do. | Iphone SE 2020 Incredibly Slow Wifi Speeds Posted: 24 Nov 2020 04:54 AM PST So I have an Android and an Iphone (love both of them) but there is honestly just one major differences: wifi speeds. Where I live, average wifi speeds are at all time low but somehow the iphone still have dramatically lower wifi speeds. Just to put into perspective I was listening to Spotify one time and for some reason my Iphone couldn't load a podcast when my Android does it instantaneously. The difference can also be seen when browsing the net, playing a game, and other non-extensive apps like drive and gmail. Is there any fix to this? Anything helps. Open to all of your ideas! Thanks! So I have a locked note with pictures in it and the other day I went into it and I found out all of the pictures in that note had all turned white and when I clicked on them I got a .JPEG and NO KB message. I don't know what happened and my other notes that have photos in them and that are locked are fine but I don't know what happened and I'm wondering if I can still salvage the pictures in the there or if I can Uncorrupt it? We install our UPS driver app through our Hub after registering, installing and verifying our phones with the Workspace Profile. Everything goes as it should until except the profile auto-delete just seconds after it installs. All my supervisors are stumped and they've just been issuing me an Android phone for my route, but I'd really like to find the solution to this. Any and all thoughts, links, whatever appreciated. I've recently upgraded from a 6s plus to a 12 pro max so need to put a new magnetic sticker onto my case. You're not meant to put one of these magnetic stickers over the same area that the phone's wireless charging is, i.e. the middle of the phone. Since the iPhone 12 pro max has magnetic backing with magsafe, am I able to place this magnetic sticker wherever I want? For days no apps can be installed or updated, I watched all "how to fix" videos and rummaged through Reddit like an animal. But unfortunately without success. Summary: - I installed an Iphone 11 with the latest iOS 14.2 firmware. - I logged out of my iCloud and tried another one, without success. - I have enough disk space (40GB from 64GB) - No jailbreak was installed on this machine. - I have also performed a hard reset several times without success. - I have tried different W-lan networks and mobile networks, without success. - I did not get the problems since the latest update, but a few days later. - If I delete an installed app that works, I can't install it anymore. - Either the installation says "wait" and nothing happens, or I prioritize this download, then the app just says "Download..." and the app is not installed or downloaded. | Posted: 24 Nov 2020 07:17 AM PST Recently, I received a notification from Settings saying that a new version of iOS was downloaded and my phone was ready to be updated. I'm not ready to update my iPhone X (I'm on 13.6.1) and went to delete the update file from iPhone Storage like I've done a million times before. Trying to save on storage space and the little red notification bubble annoys me. However, the file isn't showing up in there anymore so I'm unable to delete it. Was this something that Apple got rid of in a previous update? And does anyone know of a way to delete the update file, or at the very least to get rid of the notification bubble? Thanks!
