Grabbed the braided band! Feels amazing, I think it’s up there with the sport loops in comfort.

Just over a year ago, a friend and I completed the JFK/Roosevelt 50 mile challenge. 50 miles hiked in just over 18 elapsed hours. Stupid? Sure. But at least the ring animation is fun to watch!

To all the people who are switching to Apple Watch from Fitbit / Garmin / any other platform

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 07:00 AM PST

Just to prevent all of you asking the same questions over and over again: no, you cannot make Apple Watch behave like your previous device did. Because it's not Fitbit / Garmin / etc. It has its own quirks. If you want it to behave like your previous device - you can just buy an upgraded version of it from the same manufacturer.

    Thanks you for your understanding.

Looking to buy an Apple Watch and wondering which model is best for me?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 06:08 AM PST

I'll be using it mostly for fitness, running and playing football. So I need to be able to use Strava and listen to music/podcasts.

I can afford the Series 4 as I've found one for £250 but this is GPS only. Would that affect my ability to listen to music or anything? How important is having cellular?

There's also a Series 3 for £150, is that likely to suffer the Apple fate soon and be discontinued and slowly grind to a halt? Or would I be safe purchasing the cheaper version?

    Thanks in advance.

    Is it okay?

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 03:28 AM PST

So I've never been in "need" of the Apple Watch neither been easily able to afford it. But it looks cool. Today I found a very good offer on the series 3 watch. Should I get it or not? Does it really differ from the latest versions? Will it get outdated soon cuz it's already an old version and -like the iPhone- will soon get slower and etc?

45 minute walk and only 6 exercise minutes

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 07:42 AM PST

What gives? I just did a 45 minute walk on my treadmill and only got 6 minutes towards my exercise goal. Heart rate averaged 103, is that not high enough to be considered exercise?

Upgraded from S3 to S6 because I was sick of not getting any more faces. Chose Nike edition so I would have lots to choose from. This is my favourite. And on a small wrist, I find 40mm is more comfortable than 38mm!

    Posted: 19 Nov 2020 01:49 PM PST

Borrowed a S6 44mm from a co-worker to decide which size is the best for me. Does the 44mm fit my wrist or should I get the 40mm?

Siri still talking even when set to “control with silent mode”

    Posted: 20 Nov 2020 05:32 AM PST

    Hey all,

Longtime Apple Watch user here and can't figure this one out.

For some reason Siri still provides audible feedback even through I have it set to "control with silent mode" and my watch is on silent.

Perhaps this is a bug with the new update? Anyone else experiencing the same issue?
