| MacBook display has a green tint Posted: 06 Nov 2020 10:02 PM PST I have a 2014 retina macbook and lately, probably the last 6 months or so, my display has had a weird green tint to it. Especially where the display shows black, like if I have spotify or a "night mode" window open the screen will be really annoyingly green. The effect seems to be exaggerated at night, maybe because the display favors dark colors at that time, but not really sure if that's the case. | Posted: 06 Nov 2020 09:53 PM PST Ok, so I was going to trade in my IPhone8 8+ Tomorrow. And so I decided to back my phone up to back up to the new phone I get. But then it said back up was not completed because iPhone was disconnected weird. Ok so I take out the charger and try to use the phone and it's frozen. So ok I hard boot it. Volume up and down then hold the side power button. Now it's in a permanent boot loop. Ok, then I was like I will just connect to iTunes on my computer. When I plug in my phone to my computer it does not show up on iTunes. Please help this is very urgent and I need to get this fixed! [link] [comments]  |

I saw on another post, does this mean that the person may have just been replaying all the audio messages again today 5:09 pm (a time we were not texting at all) This happens often where I see the kept audio messages from that person all stacked up at a time we are not texting. Around an hour ago, it completely shut off, and wouldn't turn on. The apple logo would pop up, but then it would just die again. It started working for 2 minutes an hour ago, and I was able to install the newest iOS, but since then it got back into the endless loop of restarting and failing. I tried to connect it to my mac, but that didn't work, I tried hard resetting too, and nothing happened. Now it just keeps restarting over and over, and it's not even on a charge, What should I do? I was looking at my saved passwords and saw that they're all gone. When I access apps that require a password such as my bank app, I can still get in through Face ID. | Books not syncing sideloaded files between MacBook and iPhone... more details inside. Posted: 06 Nov 2020 05:36 PM PST I have a library of epub books that I had saved on my MacBook and that were opened using Books on my Mac so they showed up there as well as synced to Books on my iPhone. Everything was great until my MacBook crashed a couple of days ago and I was unable to recover anything directly through Time Machine. Luckily everything I needed was saved on Google Drive and iCloud except apparently my books folder. Now, I don't have access to these books on my MacBook but I still do through my iPhone event though they weren't all downloaded. On iPhone it has the iCloud logo next to those I never downloaded and allows me to download the files and read them without issue. Great. Except, now these won't sync with my computer. Everything else syncs between Books on my Mac and iPhone (where I left of with a book that I just downloaded on my computer to test, new collections folders, etc) except these book files. Does anyone know how to go about recovering these and having full access to the epub files again? Is it possible? Can I transfer them from my iPhone to my computer other than relying on sync which doesn't appear to be working? They are obviously saved on iCloud somewhere since I can delete them off my phone and then redownload them without an issue, I just can't find them on my computer or iCloud.com. | Posted: 06 Nov 2020 05:11 PM PST I have a 2013 MacBook Pro that has been working great since I bought it back then. I've gone through a couple of chargers. My last one the wire was breaking and I finally got a new non apple charger. When I plugged it in though it would light up and then go dark and light up again. I held it for a bit where is was lit up and after a while the laptop turned back on and I got to like 10 percent i was using it for a little bit then realized it wasn't charging and was no longer lit up but the screen was showing on and off charging. Finally it died again. I messed around with it for a bit and it was fully saying it was connected to a power source. My laptop was charging fine before so I think it's just the charger but wanted to make sure here before returning it and going with another apple official one [link] [comments]  |
