I moved all my photos to google photos, deleted apps, reset phone, and still my apps crash and says my storage is full. It's a 64gb phone and apparently I've used around 60gb [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 01 Sep 2020 11:53 PM PDT Hi, I recently replaced my iPhone 6S+ battery after it died and wouldn't come on under any circumstance. It turned the phone on and everything works, but the top right corner of the back is abnormally hot. It stays like that even when not doing anything. I have no apps running at all but the it still stays hot. The battery has also been taking an extremely long time to charge and drains when I do nothing, like 1% every 5 minutes or so. | Very strange issue with background music during phone call Posted: 01 Sep 2020 11:50 PM PDT I've tried searching around for info about this but haven't been able to find anything yet. Maybe you guys can help me. Today my wife called her bank and when the rep answered, there was strange music playing in the background. It didn't sound like it was from an audio player, but like it was playing in the background in the bank, but loudly enough to drown out the bank rep's voice. My wife asked him to turn off the music but.... he said he couldn't hear any music! Now here is where it gets weird. My wife hung up and called back but still heard the background music. But when she switched to speakerphone, the music disappeared! switching off the speaker phone brought the music back... Turning on/off the speaker phone makes me think the weird music might be related to her phone somehow. But then when she called my phone there was no music, so far it seems to only happen when calling the bank. Anyway, this is an iPhone Xs, os version 13.6, purchased October 2018 in America. A friend of mine recently switched to iPhone from a Samsung Android. One of the things he's actually bummed about is that his Android had an LED light that indicated how much charge the phone had while plugged in and charging. Is there a wireless (preferably) charging stand out there that also shows the level of current charge? I've done a bit of searching, but it became a rabbit hole fast. When you have added a gmail account to an iPhone but then get a new iPhone, does that gmail account transfer over automatically or do you have to manually add the account to the new iPhone? I've been thinking of buying an XS Max and while doing research I have found out that it suffers from connectivity issues due to the chips being Intel and not Qualcomm. I go into rename mode of a group, start working on typing whatever... and if I pause for a moment, it often exits rename mode, even though I did not initiate it. I think I've described it adequately, but I could post a screenrec if necessary. Also, FYI it's been happening even persisting through a totally new iOS install. [link] [comments]  |

The front camera works fine also, so am I right to rule out a flex cable issue and think it's the speaker module that needs replacing? Just don't want to buy parts I don't need. Thanks in advance!!! | Photos won't display and videos will only play audio after transferring to my PC Posted: 01 Sep 2020 11:14 AM PDT Videos are all .mov and photos are all .jpg. When first trying to transfer them I was getting an error message telling me my iphone couldn't be reached and asked if I wanted to skip the problem file. It says this for all of them. I updated and reboot everything and no luck. I found a thread on the apple forums that said to go to photo settings and then at the bottom there was the automatic or keep original option and to change it to keep original. Doing that allowed me download all the photos and videos but now photos won't display and videos only play audio. All of the files are good because I can use handbreak to encode them and on online image converter for the photos to got from .jpg to .jpg and then I can watch and view them all. I assume changing the setting to keep original was part of the problem but it is also the only way transfer the files. It also only seems to happen with photos/videos taken. I saved a few photos from r/EarthPorn here on reddit and they transferred just fine. What is causing the transfer error or is there a mass way to convert all the files(for free) instead of one at a time? Thanks. [link] [comments]  |

Phone can only make calls, text, and use spotify. I basically put the phone in lock down 24/7 but allowed those apps to work "all the time." The problem with this is that I have family sharing active and my family back home can't use it anymore. Also, last year, when I only had an iPad and not an iPhone, I didn't have this problem. Today I noticed the weather app is showing my location in another state. I can't really remember if I had glanced at it since the reset or not. Does this mean anything? And the internet says now it is worst time to buy new apple phone. BUT in my country Iphone 11 is in sale, from 957,3 usd to 820 (14%), i know when new Iphone is release the price of the last model drops, but it is ussually from 10-20%. So 14% sale is almost right in the middle. And is Iphone 12 really worth waiting? Because I will use it for basic things - instagram, facebook, ... and i dont thing new processor will make use for me. And camera on iphone 11 is just enough for me, i think, or will I benefit more from Iphone 12 camera? (I am taking just basic amature pictures) And the last thing is 5G, well, i dont see it as very important, because 4G is enough for my instagram and messenger. I can still hold down the power button to turn of the phone but the power button won't lock the screen. Last time this happened eventually it went away on its own. This time its been 15 minutes and still won't lock. Anyone dealt with or heard of something similar? Edit: turning off and on made it go away. I guess sometimes tech support is right. Some from old shared albums and others from my Microsoft onedrive. And most bizarre of all some even came in from my old Facebook account (which has been disabled). I've checked my number is not blocked on his phone but when I call the phone it goes straight to voicemail. However, he can still call my phone. This wasn't a problem until about a month ago where we had our numbers blocked and then unblocked. I can WhatsApp call and Facebook call him via wifi but not with a regular call.
