Today I released my first game! It's called Asteroid Glider and it's a retro arcade game. It's made with pixel art and 8-bit sound. It's a simple game, glide around and try to avoid the rocks or even shoot them! It also uses the taptic engine to make it feel like a classic arcade game. :)

Hi folks,

I'm looking for a Settlers-like game on iOS (like Settlers 3 for PC, not Settlers of Catan). Something like the Caesar-series might scratch the itch I'm having as well.

I've tried Townsmen, but while it does a lot of things right the money economy is terrible, focused on getting the player to pay premium currency. Since the premium version of the game doesn't appear to improve it, it's not really an option.

Cultures Northland got relatively bad rating, seemingly because it has been ported badly.

I don't mind putting down some money to buy the game, but I'm no fan of IAPs other than full-value addons. Also not interested in multiplayer at all.

Neverwinter Nights vs Baldurs Gate?

Playing on a XS Max, I just but Baldurs Gate since it's on sale, but I find everything too small. I'll probably come back to it when I get an iPad. But I still had that D&D itch, and came across Neverwinter Nights. How does it compare? Is it easy to play on a phone, or should I pass on it until it goes on sale or until I get an iPad?

Monster collector type game

Looking for a Monster Collector game similar to Pokémon where you can battle against other players.

Battles are my favorite part of Pokémon and I'd like to have that on the go for my phone.

Edit: Just to clarify when I mean battles I'm talking PVP.

Cross play games between iOS and Android/PC

My girlfriend and I due to the pandemic are quite far away from each other. She owns an iPad but I've unfortunately got only Android phone and a PC. I wonder if there are any cross platform online games between these platforms.

I'm not talking about competitive multiplayers like Fortnite or MOBAs, more like pool or board games.

I'm assuming I already know the answer, but has anyone tried playing Baldur's Gate 1 or 2 on an iPhone XR or similar? I really would like to play it on my phone, but I'm afraid the small size would cause some major frustration or make it downright unplayable.

Just looking for some opinions on if it's worth it or not from anyone that's tried. Thanks in advance for any help.
