- Anyone own one of these straps? Thinking of getting one for my 5 but not sure £100 is worth it, anyone know if the quality is good? And if it’s comfortable?

Apple watch 5 just died and overheated, burning my wrist (slightly) Posted: 02 Sep 2020 10:32 PM PDT Out of nowhere my wrist started to burn and I realized my series 5 apple watch was off and growing hotter by the second. Now, about 10 minutes later, it seems to be cooling off. Did my battery just "explode"? The only similar info I can find is about the series 2 doing this. Any suggestions? I'm researching my options now [link] [comments]

Apple Watch does not support hearing aids Posted: 02 Sep 2020 08:57 PM PDT I cannot stream calls and music to my Resound hearing aids from Apple Watch. I gave up on this forum and instead wrote an email to Tim Cook (timcook@apple.com) and asked "what's the real story?" Isabela, Executive Relations at Apple replied on Tuesday with a phone call. She said "Apple watch does not support any hearing aids at this time." She followed up our iPhone conversation with this email. "Hello Don, Thank you for taking the time to speak with me. Apple is always working with our Made for iPhone partners to expand the functionality of hearing devices. If hearing device support is expanded to the Apple Watch in the future, the list of supported hearing devices will be provided here https://support.apple.com/HT201466 We certainly appreciate your feedback." S3 watch Draining Fast After Last IPhone Update Posted: 03 Sep 2020 06:32 AM PDT Is anyone else having the same problem? Normally charge in the morning and can get a full day out of it. Now yesterday I had a full charge in the morning and had to recharge around mid afternoon because I was at 20% My auto sleep app has been also reminding me to recharge my phone almost everyday since the update in the afternoon because of low battery life. Brand New AW 5 Battery Problems Posted: 03 Sep 2020 05:13 AM PDT So I got a brand new Apple Watch 5 two weeks ago. I knew the watch required frequent charging, but mine won't stay charged for even 24 hours! I basically only use the watch for activity tracking and AutoSleep at night. Maybe the AutoSleep is killing the battery? Anyway, it's really disappointing. Would appreciate others' thoughts. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Crazy apple watch monthly challenges Posted: 03 Sep 2020 07:32 AM PDT Allright, so I am training. Quite much the past months. Started really working out in May and then got the challenges to walk or run 170 km. So i did. June was easy. «Double your daily movement 5 times» July: walk or run 240km. Which i also did. Actually i did 350km. August was like «burn 34000calories» and i got a injury last week so i only made 27000 and did not make it. Now for september I get do atleast 1890 minute workout 😩 which equals 63 minutes per day. This is just getting crazier and crazier. Eventually it will kill me 🙄 Do anyone else get crazy challenges? Do AppleWatches count your Body Fat percentage? Posted: 03 Sep 2020 07:31 AM PDT I just heard about this scale that counts your body fat, and then I thought, Is it possible that your Apple Watch could somehow? [link] [comments]
Is the Stainless Steel version worth it if I won't be using cellular at all? Posted: 02 Sep 2020 09:02 PM PDT I'm looking to upgrade from my S3 once the S6 comes. I have the money available to spend the extra $350 on the stainless steel version, but don't want to spend any more than I have to (maybe save it for AirPods Studio or AirTags?). I am not far away from my phone often enough (especially with COVID) to justify paying $10 a month for cellular access so I won't be activating that feature. I'm wondering if the more durable screen and body is worth the extra money if I'll only be using GPS. Thanks! [link] [comments]
Uploading Apple Watch workouts to Strava Posted: 03 Sep 2020 06:42 AM PDT Hello, I wanted to test using my AW5 for workouts. I connected to Apple Health and turned on "Send to Health" per Strava's instructions. My question is, do I also need to allow Strava to read Workouts and Workout routes from within Apple Health? Are the alert tones and ring tones getting old on the Apple Watch? Posted: 03 Sep 2020 05:22 AM PDT
Posted: 03 Sep 2020 04:29 AM PDT Hey all, I've wanted an Apple Watch for a while, but have zero idea how much use I'd get from it. I found a Series 2 near me for $75 and was thinking of grabbing it and giving it a few months to see if like it before investing in a 5. My only area of concern is that S2 won't be getting WatchOS 7. I'm pretty big on security—it is one of my biggest reasons for coming back to Apple—and am wondering if I'm going to lose some functionality/safety since I won't be able to update it further. I'm primarily interested in fitness tracking, messaging, and contactless payment. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. I apologize if posts like this are common. [link] [comments]

Question about music on the Apple Watch Posted: 03 Sep 2020 03:39 AM PDT I'm looking to buy the Series 3 without cellular for running but I heard that there wasnt any spotify at all which is kind of a shame. Can someone explain to me how apple music works? Like do I have to pay for anything or can I simply download/transfer music onto the apple watch and listen to music without cellular connection? Posted: 03 Sep 2020 03:22 AM PDT I have an original Apple Watch and it has stopped showing calendar items. It says "No more events today" all the time even when there are events in my phone calendar. I have checked in the Watch app and mirroring the phone calendar is ticked. Any suggestions? [link] [comments] |
