Anyone here in love with their iPhone but prefer Windows PC's? Posted: 05 Aug 2020 06:36 PM PDT I have an iPhone, Macbook Pro with Touchbar, and a decked out gaming PC and I find that I use my iPhone 90% of the time for computing and my Windows PC the other 10. Am I crazy for loving my iPhone but preferring Windows 10? [link] [comments]

First time iPhone user, any tips? Posted: 06 Aug 2020 09:21 AM PDT After 10 years of android phones, I figured I was due something new. Picked up a 128gb SE today. Was glad to see that my contacts and stuff synced right across via Google account. Any tips/tricks or hidden features for a first time iOS user? Cheers! [link] [comments]

Considering going back to iPhone. Has file management changed in the past 4 years? Posted: 06 Aug 2020 08:54 AM PDT Hey there! I'm a current Android user who is heavily considering the next-gen iPhone as my next phone—but I am curious to know if file management has changed any in the past few years. Part of the reason I switched away from iPhone in the first place (I had every single one up until the iPhone 7) is how cumbersome it was to get files on/off the phone. Photos/videos needed to be sync'd through iTunes, and it was very frustrating to put my own photos/videos onto the device to share on social media. I also had a ton of sync issues where things would wipe themselves from the phone. Same goes for music. Syncing everything through iTunes was an extra step that didn't always work correctly (it always screwed up a lot of the metadata, even with immaculate library maintenance). In short—has there been any improvement to file management in the past 4 years? Is iTunes still the central hub for managing the device? Is there any drag/drop functionality through a Windows file explorer? I tried searching, but I can't really find anything that covers this topic in any depth. Appreciate any thoughts on the matter! Remote app constantly changes formats. Posted: 06 Aug 2020 08:05 AM PDT What is up with the remote app? Anyone have this experience where like every time you open it up, it's in a different format? First it has the 15 second arrows, the a blank trackpad, then the up-down-left-right arrows. Why can't it just stick to one format? Ahhhh! [link] [comments] |
