| Iphone 6s won't turn on after sudden shutdown Posted: 03 Jul 2020 12:37 AM PDT Today I was watching youtube and my iphone 6s' screen started glitching so I tried to turn it off to restart it, and the screen went blue and then turned off. After that, I couldn't turn it on at all. I've tried to hold the power and home button for 1 min at the same time but it didn't work. Holding the power and home buttons worked when plugged into my computer and even though the screen was black I was able to update the software. Any fixes? [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone XS Max Periodic Restarts Posted: 02 Jul 2020 03:59 PM PDT Hey y'all, looking for some help but I have a xs max and the day after it went into water (for a few seconds only) it started acting up and would restart every 3 minutes to the dot. I tried restoring iOS at the Apple store and that didn't help, told me its hardware issue. I checked the analytics and some codes came up such as Panic-full, ResetCounter, and stacks+thermalmonitorid. Not really sure what to do, whether I should just sell for parts or try replacing the battery and charging flex cable (some stuff I read online). Thanks y'all!! [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 02 Jul 2020 04:32 PM PDT Hi So I've had my iphone 7 since it was released and it was working fine (except for a few cracks) until recently the battery started to die quickly, now I have to keep it plugged into the charger or else it dies. My phone has begun telling me "no SIM card installed", when my phone gets a little warm, and I mean it does not even have to get "hot" before it disconnects, and now I have to carry a sim remover with me. all the time. There is no option within safari to delete the bookmark as it isnt there and i cant delete it from the home screen as the "x" doesnt show up when in screen editing mode. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 02 Jul 2020 06:41 AM PDT Hello, this morning i woke up and my iphone 11 keeps restarting on its own. I've read that it is probably because the IOS update got interrupted which i think is the reason because i didnt download any suspicious apps or drop it recently, and my storage is fine. Im trying to back up my icloud but it restarts before it finishes. any idea what i can do? The time i have to return it to the store is up. Im hoping that there is a way that includes not losing all my stuff and keeping the phone. Do i just wait for the next IOS update? Thanks [link] [comments]  |

I checked all the settings and they are all set for an alert, but the only thing I ever get after the set date and time is the 1 in the red circle on the top right hand of the app icon. However, her phone got wet from rain (literally was only wet for less than 5 min) and it's been messed up since. It turns on, yet half of the screen is unresponsive. | How to Restore backup from a newer iOS device to an old iOS device Posted: 02 Jul 2020 07:29 AM PDT I currently have to phones, an older iPhone 6 Plus running iOS 12.4.7 and a newer iPhone X running iOS 13.5.1 For the past three months I was using the iPhoneX after I had transferred all my dar to it via a backup from my old iPhone 6plus. The old phone still had all the data. Now I have to shift again to my old phone 6plus and I tried restoring a backup from my new one but it says that the backup is incompatible and that I need to upgrade my phone. Problem is iPhone 6 Plus is running the latest compatible iOS and I can't upgrade it to anything beyond 12.4.7. Although it's been only three months, I've had lots of added university work in keynotes, files, photos, what's app, bookmarks and reading lists. I need to transfer this data back. Although I could painstakingly manuall air drop each pdf/ppt or add the thousands of new reading list pages, I can't transfer my WhatsApp and other in app data. (Since the WhatsApp on my old phone got closed as soon as I opened it in iPhone X and now it requires a code to open it and I'm currently overseas and my sim isn't working and I can't receive codes.) I should also add that I haven't backed up anything through cloud because iCloud scares me a lot. Almost every time I tried to work with it all my data just blew away and I can't afford to lose my 6+ GB worth of what's app uni data and my books/files. I'd like if there's a way to restore the new backup to my older phone via iTunes. I read online that I might have to erase my iphone 6 and then use the dont transfer data app option but that won't work for me as I don't have an iCloud up. And I'm deathly afraid that if I do erase my iPhone 6 to give this method a chance, there's a possibility that it never restores and I'll lose all the data I still have in my phone. I need reassurance that if i erase my iOS 12.4 phone and then try to restore the backup from iOS 13, it will 100% work. Please is there a way to fix it. I'm very worried.
