| Is there any other cross-platform notes app other than One Note? Posted: 29 Jul 2020 12:17 PM PDT I would use Good Notes except in addition to an iPad mini, I have an android phone as well as a PC, and don't believe Good Notes can open on either. I'm thinking of using One Note for everything, but before I do, was wondering what other options there were. I find One Note decent but not ideal, just like all Microsoft products lol. | Disabling Notifications on Wake Posted: 29 Jul 2020 10:11 AM PDT When I open my iPad up from its sleep state, I'm flooded with notifications from when I was gone. Most of those notifications(emails, texts, etc), I have already seen on my iPhone. Is there a way to disable them from popping up on the top of the screen when I open my ipad without disabling them as a whole? Posted: 28 Jul 2020 10:35 PM PDT My brother has had an ipad 3 sitting in his closet for more than a year now, I asked him if he would sell it to me & he accepted, I changed the cracked screen & installed a screen protector & a cover. I'm thinking of jailbreaking it as it only runs 9.3.5 so if you have some practical ideas for it lmk, I'm going to use it for social media & university stuff but I still think I'm not getting the best of it by this [link] [comments]  | ||

Trying to get away from lightroom because expensive subscription and find few apps namely darkroom, afinity etc. But I've been searching for the one that has selective edit like in lightroom where you could brush some area to have selection I wonder if there is such app available... | Magic Trackpad 2 with iPad Pro 9.7” - A good or bad idea? Posted: 28 Jul 2020 12:41 AM PDT Hello everyone. I recently bought an iPad Pro 9.7" from my Sister since she was going to trade it in to get an iPad Air 3rd Gen (with $90 AirPods Pro). After getting it I bought an Apple Pencil which I really enjoy using and can already tell it will be amazing for college work. My interest in iPads peaked when they added the mouse support and released the Magic Keyboard Case. I didn't really pay attention to iPads for a couple of years and I didn't realize how much they improved the software. I knew about the iPad Pro 2018 redesign and such but always shrugged because of how iPads used to work as just a bigger iPhone. That was when I decided I wanted one eventually and the opportunity to get this one for an amazing price was too good to pass up. I knew that the Magic Keyboard Case was only for the newer pros going into this but I now realize how difficult it is to find a good option for this ipad. Afaik there isn't one. The Logitech Keyboard + Trackpad folio seemed great but they also only support the newer pros. I decided maybe I didn't need one anyway but after connecting my Magic Keyboard (first gen) and messing around a bit I realize how nice it is to have something like this and I am seriously considering Magic Trackpad 2 since that is the only external one that supports all the gestures. Does anyone think that there will be any combo case that supports this ipad because it doesn't seem like there will be so should I just get a Magic Trackpad 2? Anyone else have experience using a similar setup? I have a folio case with Apple Pencil storage already (sis already had the case) and using it with the keyboard if front of it while the ipad is propped up using the folio works great so I think adding in the trackpad would work great. Also is it really worth $130? I could get one used on eBay but that is slightly risky and they are still $70+ [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 28 Jul 2020 05:39 AM PDT Since the magic keyboard has some kind of " Polyurethane" material it doesn't feel as straight forward as just slapping on a sticker on metalic or regular plastic material.
