    If you have any questions, feel free to ask me :)

    Edit: To install odysseyra1n, restore rootfs first, then jailbreak using checkra1n, but don't open the loader and install odysseyra1n.

    Odysseyra1n isn't a jailbreak, it's a modern replacement bootstrap (basically the code that makes your tweak run) made by Coolstar that offer better speed and stability and some users say they have better battery life too. It installs Sileo instead of aging Cydia.

    You don't have to reinstall odysseyra1n after each reboot, just re-jailbreak using checkra1n.

    [Free Release] SkinnyMenu: Removes share and lookup option from copy/paste menu

    Posted: 18 Jul 2020 09:37 AM PDT

    SkinnyMenu is a free and simple tweak that gets rid of the share and lookup button in the standard ios menu. Those 2 buttons are useless to me and it seems many others feel same. So i made this tweak in response to this request:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/hszyg6/request_remove_the_look_up_and_share_option/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf

    Repo:

    https://foxfort.yourepo.com/

    Compatibility:

    iOS 12 and 13

    The tweak can be configured in settings.

    Note: The tweak has a dependency hosted on Packix. So make sure you have Packix repo added to your package manager to prevent any installation issues.

    To discover my other tweaks, you can checkout the 'my tweaks' section in the tweak preference settings pane or you can follow me on twitter: @foxfortmobile

    [Discussion] If you are using (the leaked) Odyssey Jailbreak - don't reboot having CokePoke's AppStore++ installed, or it will boot loop you back to un-jailbroken state! (Workaround included)

    Posted: 18 Jul 2020 10:23 AM PDT

    Hi,

    Yesterday I switched from u0 to Odyssey and I can't be happier. Haven't had any crashes or drains so far. I can't imagine the official version getting better. Good Job, guys!

    Tho AppStore++ doesn't seem to work.

    If you install AppStore++ it works, but If you then reboot into unjailbroken mode and then jailbreak again, your device will restart itself (to unjailbroken mode).

    In case you installed AppStore++ or any other faulty tweak:

    Workaround 1: disable the option "Enable Tweaks" and jailbreak. Then open the package manager of your choice and uninstall the faulty Tweak. Then reboot and tick enable tweaks again. Your device should work as before.

    Workaround 2 (just in emergency case if nothing else works, try this before full restore): before pressing "Jailbreak" tick "restore rootFS". But consider that all your tweaks are gone and you have to start the jailbreak-process by scratch.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------

    If you (whyever) need to downgrade an App:

    Workaround 1: http://web.archive.org/web/20190701143109/https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/8w1ebj/tutorial_how_to_downgrade_any_app_to_any_version/

    Workaround 2:

    1. Download AppStore++ 0.9.10
    2. Downgrade the App(s) to the Version you want
    3. Do one of the following tasks:
      3.1 Uninstall AppStore++
      3.2 Disable AppStore++ with iCleaner Pro
      (iCleaner Pro -> "+" -> Cydia Substrate Addons -> untick the 3 Appstore++ entries)

    Tweaks that I can confirm are working with Odyssey on iPhone 11 13.5:

    - Unicorn for Tiktok

    - Phantom Beta

    - Snapper 2

    - Appaze 2

    - Pigment

    - NotifyWifiX

    - Multipla

    - Copylog

    - AutoUnlockX

    - KernBypass

    - FixFacebookCrash

    - Titan (rare re-springs now and then, but got that with u0 aswell)

    - Watusi 2 for WhatsApp

    - iCleaner

    - DiskProbe

    - Lynx

    - Kalm

    - Filza File Manager

    - Gesto13

    - Kai

    - Spectrum

    - AppSync Unified

    The tweak has been updated to support iOS 13, but also can work all the way down to iOS 8 as it still includes the original tweak's code. If you don't know what SupportTheUnsupported does, it allows devices to be connected to non MFI supported charging accessories.

    You can download the tweak for free here on Packix.

    Buzz Buzz Lite - Free

    [Tutorial] Switch from Checkra1n to Odesseyra1n without RootFS restore and keeping all tweaks

    Posted: 18 Jul 2020 08:47 AM PDT

    Here are the steps to migrate from Checkra1n to Odysseyra1n.

    Note: Use this method at your own risk.

    1) Install batchomatic and backup your current setup (In case something goes wrong)

    2) Install Newterm, cURL, z shell.

    3) Open Newterm and login as root (password is alpine by default)

    4) Paste this script in Newterm

    /bin/bash -c "$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/coolstar/Odyssey-bootstrap/master/procursus-deploy-linux-macos.sh)"

    This will basically install procursus bootstrap and Sileo will get installed too.

    5) Open Sileo, install libhooker package if it is not installed already.

    6) Run /etc/rc.d/libhooker to start libhooker and then sbreload

    7) Remove Bingner's repo, as the repo and tools are mainly intended for substrate, and we have removed it already.

    All of your tweaks will start working again.

    Good luck.

    [Tutorial] How to jailbreak 9.3.5 nowadays via AltServer (on Windows 10) and Phoenix (how I did it)

    Posted: 18 Jul 2020 03:57 PM PDT

    Hey! Today I want to present you the instruction how I did jailbreak on my iPad 2 iOS 9.3.5. I know, it often said to use phoenix and AltServer, but for me it took couple days to understand how to do everything successfully and I am pretty sure, it is not only me, who had/have/will have problems/questions.

    P.S. maybe it belongs to r/LegacyJailbreak, but I think more people are going to ask about iOS 9 here, so…

    Anyway, first I want to point out the reasons, why, probably!, you cannot jailbreak your gadget right now (again it is only my thoughts, they can be unreasonable, but I tried to make it 10 times, I used 2 laptops and I don't know exactly which magic I used to make it work).

    1. Make sure you have both iTunes and iCloud installed from Apple website, not from Microsoft Store (again, jailbreak on windows, not macOS);
    2. Turn off your antivirus. My Windows Defender blocked the process;
    3. When you are installing phoenix (step #) make sure you opened AltServer twice (2 icons should be in tray. Maybe it is not necessarily for everyone, but it worked for me);
    4. I used this versions of apps. AltServer is definitely not the last one. AltServerPatcher - I don't know. And I don't know if it matters, but if you tried anything else, then try these versions.
    5. Maybe you need to make process exactly step by step how I did, because who knows how this magic works…

    Well, now is the process:

    1. Install AltServer. Install AltServerPatcher (if AltServer is installed not in standard directory, disk C, then it will ask you to show him the way to AltServer.exe);
    2. Open AltServer (one icon in tray);
    3. Connect your iDevice to PC;
    4. Check that AltServer sees your device (if doesn't try to open iTunes, and then close it);
    5. If iDevice is recognised disconnect it;
    6. Open AltServerPatcher, choose Phoenix there and click Patch;
    7. After open AltServer twice (2 icons in tray);
    8. Connect iDevice;
    9. Click on the second AltServer icon and click there Install AltServer (it will be Phoenix instead);
    10. Write in your Apple ID (I wrote my actual id, but if I am not mistaken, you can use another one, newly created, if you want of course);
    11. If you haven't did it before, you will receive on your gadget 6 numbers (authorisation) and you will need to write them in;
    12. Then there will be a small window in the right bottom corner that AltServer is installing an app on your iDevice;
    13. After that the Phoenix should appear on the iDevice. It happened for within 30-60 seconds. The small window in the right bottom corner should appear after you wrote 6 numbers. There shouldn't be any long delay.
    14. Well after you click on Phoenix -> Prepare for Jailbreak -> Accept -> dismiss (a pop-up window) -> Proceed with Jailbreak -> Begin Installation.
    15. I got Cydia after the second try. After the first my iPad just reboot without jailbreak.

    That's all Folks! Again, I am not sure if all the steps should be exactly followed as I described, but I don't know what exactly helped me to make a jailbreak, that's why try as it is written, if you failed it before, maybe it will help you. Good luck!

    [Request] Tweak to change change volume of apps separately

    Posted: 18 Jul 2020 09:24 PM PDT

    Tweak to prioritise videos over call audio

    I am looking for a tweak which allows me to change the Audio priority in a call, if I am on a long call on WhatsApp or houseparty, I want to be able to maybe watch a video and give that audio priority, another option would be an option to change different types of audio instead of everything's volume going down, I can manually change the audio of the call and the video, or manually change the audio of certain apps.

    [Tip] Fix for AltDeploy crashing due to malicious protection on MacOS Catalina

    Posted: 18 Jul 2020 03:20 PM PDT

    Since, well, pretty much today, AltDeploy seems to be unable to run on newer versions of catalina, because its signature apparently gets recognized as malware known by apple.Im not exactly sure what this is about, AltServer seems to work for now, however i'm not sure for how long.

    Anyways, i figured that rebuilding the code signature actually makes altdeploy work again, so here are the needed steps in order to get there:

    1. copy and paste AltDeploy to your Applications folder, in case it isn't there already.
    2. right click it, get info and disable the option to check for potentially malicious content.
    3. Open up the Terminal and Paste this in: sudo codesign -f -s - /Applications/AltDeploy.app/Contents/MacOS/AltDeploy
    4. Hit enter and enter your password
    5. Enjoy!

    I also made a quick Video on how to fix this.
