| Looking for recommendations for good tycoon-style sim games Posted: 06 Jul 2020 12:22 PM PDT I enjoyed playing Hotel Tycoon, Railroad Tycoon, Rollercoaster Tycoon and also Project Highrise. I'd love to find another IOS game that's similar. Premium is better than fremium. Idle clickers are boring and I am not into games with match-3/Candy Crush components. Anything with goals/quests and/or hidden object scenes are good. Timers are okay as long as they don't bring the game to a screeching halt every three minutes. For those who haven't played Battleheart, it's a real-time RPG where you pick a party and go through set encounters to get XP, money, and skill points to work through a tech tree and upgrade equipment. The combat is aggro-based and real-time. Basically I'm looking for a premium turn-based game where you make a party for branching, set encounters and can make decision for all your characters turn by turn if you want (not sims). I'm honestly not sure why I like it so much, but it might be in part that it's an F2P that has a shop but doesn't require me to use it. Daily missions, a bunch of currencies, and a fun animation style. Lots of equipments to break & upgrade, some strategy choices to make -- which troops with which leader, how to upgrade those troops & leaders, etc. Maybe there's something wrong with the game, but I haven't found it yet. | Puzzle games that don’t cost you for binging Posted: 06 Jul 2020 11:31 AM PDT Jesus I can't find a single, simple puzzle game that I can play nonstop without me "running out of coins" and having to either buy coins or wait 24 hours. It's just not the way I want to play. I wish there was an option to just buy the game for $20 and get rid of the ads and need to constantly earn coins, but I know these games will never do that because they make bank off of people who get obsessed and have the cash to throw around. If I had unlimited money, I'd spend thousands on just being able to play some of these games in an unending, uninterrupted manner. Does this exist AT ALL? [link] [comments]  |
