[Discussion] Tweak devs: I'm happy to help out with branding! Posted: 02 Jun 2020 01:56 PM PDT Quick update to this: If you're thinking about reaching out, or have already, PLEASE NOTE that I won't be available tomorrow (June 03) all day. Long story short, I just won't be at my desk, and will be largely unable to respond. Thank you for understanding! _________ Hey all :D I love creating, especially for others. So, short and simple, if you are a developer who needs an icon, graphic, banner, or anything else for an upcoming tweak or theme, PLEASE don't hesitate to reach out. If you want to see some of my work, you can check it out here (Google Photos) or here (Twitter). All of the work I do for developers is generally free of charge, because of the hard work that they do for the community. Without a doubt, this community needs nicer people, but in all fairness, we do have some incredibly talented devs that I have had the privilege of working with and creating both branding and icons for. Again, I am more than happy to be doing this. There is no real personal benefit here, all I ask is that you credit me in some way or another. Whether it be in the description of your tweak/theme or otherwise. If you want to get in touch with me, feel free to do so here, but if you want to contact me quickly, I recommend doing so through a DM on Twitter. Take care, and STOP LICKING DOOR HANDLES! - Futur3Sn0w [link] [comments]

[Free Release] Procurus bootstrap! A decentralized bootstrap public and open to contribution Posted: 02 Jun 2020 09:44 AM PDT Hello everyone, Hayden (known as Diatrus) the man who brought us cydia in chimera and sileo on uncover/checkra1n released his bootstrap named procursus. Made for freedom and open to contribution, this bootstrap will be included in the futur odyssey jailbreak by coostars and odysseyra1n. But what's behind procursus? Well first of all procursus feature libhooker for the first public release, made by coolstars it's a new drop-in Substrate/substitute replacement, all in one hooking + tweak injection system. second, The repo, created by the Procursus Team, is part of a new project to create a decentralized main repo for future jailbreaks. It come along with a stellar cross-compilation system for *nix tools that literally anyone can use. If you want a package to be included in the repo (we don't know, maybe metaspoit?) then you will be able to fork procurus repo, add the package and make a pull request. The overall goal of Procursus is to make an up-to-date, well populated, easy to contribute to repo, and be the overall golden standard. Also if you wonder, with this bootstrap you can install any package manager you want : Sileo, Cydia, Installer 5, Zebra, Saily Also feature APT 2.1.5 (I know you need it) link of the github : https://github.com/ProcursusTeam/Procursus If you want to test it, you can join the sileo discord for more information and tutorial about getting odysseyra1n Link: https://github.com/ProcursusTeam/Procursus Message from Hayden : I would also like to add that we went out of our way to make it easy for everyone to contribute to, that way if you don't see a package you want on there, you can fork it, add it, and PR it yourself! I'll be building up documentation in the coming days, people can direct any questions to \@Diatrus on Twitter or email me@diatr.us. [link] [comments]

[Request] Google Photos Persistent Backup Tweak Posted: 02 Jun 2020 08:20 PM PDT So I've been using Google Photos for a while and I love it as an all in one solution for backing up and storing photos. It does a great job organizing and sorting. However, I've noticed that the Google Photos app won't back up my photos unless I open the app and leave it running in the background. It would be incredible if a tweak could be made (or already exists?) to allow Google Photos to run the backup process always, so as soon as a photo is taken it's backed up with no need to open the app. Not sure about how many others in the community use Google Photos, but I hope others would find this useful too. [Tip] Upgrading from iOS 13.x - 13.5 Posted: 02 Jun 2020 01:25 PM PDT As everyone knows iOS 13.5.1 is now out, so if you want to upgrade to 13.5 follow my instructions. Note; 13.5 is still signed so be QUICK First use batchomatic to make a backup of your tweaks. Very easy install batchomatic go on cydia/zebra and go to search and there will be a steering wheel click it and click create offline deb. Make sure to upload to you .deb file from batchomatic in google drive or somewhere Then make a backup of your source list (can save in email or notes). Then run restorerootFS -- This part is optional; conenct to your computer and backup using iTunes or Tenorshare or your preffered app. Next go to ipsw website and download your correct ipsw file, using your model number on the back of your phone it will help you find whether you have GSM or Global model and etc. Now simply connect your phone to your computer and open iTunes for windows or finder for mac. Open your iphone and where it says update (hold option for mac/shift for windows). Locate the ipsw file that you downloaded and let it update. Once it is updated, you need to jailbreak again obviously. -- This method is using AltStore Open altstore connect your iPhone and install AltStore, will ask for your apple ID. Once it installed open safari on your phone google unc0ver dev and you should come to the unc0ver website. Download the ipa, once downloaded you can do open with and then go to the end and look for copy to AltStore. Now unc0ver should be installed on your phone. Next open cydia and install batchomatic, filza and flame. After that is done, download the .deb file and open in Filza. When it is in Filza you click it and click install, will run a process. Next you copy your source list and go into cydia. From there go to sources and click edit -- add multiple. Here paste your source list. Nearly done, now go back into search on cydia and click the steering wheel. and click install deb. It will take sometime and you will probably land into safe mode. No problem. Again open cydia and under changes there should be a bunch of updates etc to be done, click update all and let them download. One respringed if you are still stuck in safemode its due to a uncompatible tweak. No problem, download cr4shed and respring your device. You will still be in safemode, just open cr4shed and see what tweak is causing the crash. Go back into cydia and remove that tweak. Respring and should be good to go. I'm making this tutorial as I couldn't find one and had numerous issues trying to update from iOS 13.3 - 13.5. I've simplified this as much as I can. PM if you need any help, shoutout to u/Pwn20wnd for all his work in the JB community [link] [comments]
