    I just booted back up my old Apple TV and noticed that it has access to Apple TV+. I remember making the final decision to upgrade when Apple Music was decidedly not offered on this model. Can anyone think why they would have not ported Apple Music and later decided to port Apple TV+?

    How would I add my HBO add on from Hulu?

    So I have a subscription to HBO as an add on through Hulu. I've added Hulu to my Apple TV roster but I don't know how to add HBO as well. I'd prefer not to cancel my add on and change it to where it goes through Apple TV but if that's the only thing I can do I will.

    Harmony compatibility

    Hi! I just purchased a harmony companion with the Hub and I have it successfully turning on my apple tv with the activity, however the arrow buttons and enter buttons don't do anything. I'm not sure how I can train the remote either because the Apple remote uses gestures rather than buttons that I can click.

    Any suggestions or advice would be great because my primary streaming device is the Apple TV.

    Air play from iPhone/iPad

    I can airplay certain types of videos on from my iPad/iPhone to my Apple TV 4K but on some types of video players only the sound comes through my tv and on some the video won't play and just keeps pausing immediately after I press play. Any work around?

    Apple TV Remote Unable to Control Volume on TCL Series 6 (2019)

    I've just set up my TCL Series 6 (55R625) with a 4k Apple TV top-box, and all my CEC settings are turned on within both the TCL's interface (including System Audio control) and within the Apple TV's settings. The Apple TV remote is turning the TV on and off perfectly, 1-touch play works, but the Apple TV cannot control the TCL's volume. Within Apple TV's volume control I've attempted "Learn new device" to no success.

    I was wondering if anyone has experienced this issue before and found a fix for it. Thanks so much for the help! Aside from this, the Series 6 and 4k Apple TV have been a fantastic pair together.

    HDR / Dolby Vision options on Apple TV

    Recently I noticed that I haven't even seeing any HDR titles on iTunes, and only see Dolby Vision titles. As my TV isn't quite that new I don't have a Dolby Vision option.

    Does this mean that all of the HDR titles have left? Or is it still HDR compatible but not advertised?

    Subtitle options

    I am thinking about getting a Apple TV when the new version is released and was wondering if it has a option to play subtitles only when you hit rewind?
    My roku has this feature where it will go back 10-15 seconds and show subtitles when you hit the go back button. It works exactly like the Uhear feature that would sometimes be on blu rays. I find more often than not I only rewind when I didn't understand the dialogue and this feature saves me from having to change the subtitle settings every time I didn't understand something.

    End credits shrinking out

    Hey!

    So on my ATV4K, the end credits of shows on Netflix and Disney+ shrink as soon as they start (they doesn't even give you 5 seconds to catch our breath). But on Amazon Prime or Hulu, it doesn't shrink. I can't change that. So why does it shrinks on Netflix and Disney+ and not other apps? It's really annoying.

    Low profile power cord?

    I'm planning to mount our 4K Apple TV behind our flatscreen and get it off of our mantle. Also to help with safety and visually by not having the power cord hanging down from our mantle to our wall outlet. Has anyone found a low profile (90-degree) power cable for the Apple TV? I know our Samsung TV's all have one to allow for a more flush fit against the wall and outlet on the wall that the tv sits in front of, but after Googling I've come up empty for anything directly from Apple.. wanted to see if anyone here may have found a product that works for this situation?

    Best SECOND controller for aTV?

    So I've got a Steel Series Nimbus and it's been great with my 4th-gen aTV, but I wanted to get another controller. I've been reading conflicting information, suggesting that I can only run 1 Nimbus on the aTV at a time (bluetooth limitation) - although I don't know if this is true..? If so, does anyone else use a different second controller? If not, another Nimbus, I guess?

    Would love suggestions - peace to all, be safe out there!

    note: Buying stuff here in the Netherlands sometimes isn't as easy to return as in the US, so I don't really want to buy anything just to see.

    Adding image/artwork meta data (via Subler) to mp4’s to match new TVOS interface

    Does anyone know how to add multiple artwork/covers to suit the new TVOS that seems to have 3 different meta images? It seems to have a square image for the list view, a cover image for the details, and a 16:9 screengrab for the individual episode thumbnails - but adding artwork via somthing like Subler only seems to give you one that covers all three of these (and the varying aspect ratios mean a few of them look odd)
