    IPhone 8 ios 13 never jailbroken, suddenly turned on this dim screen with loop spring animation.. tried force shutdown doesn't work. Phone is still on it still vibrates and detects wrong passcode..

    I have an iPhone SE and the wifi works fine unless i open some apps like Twitch or i play online games the wifi keeps disconnecting for 1 min and reconnecting back .It happens constantly unless i close that certain app , any reason for that ?

    What adblocker that works on apps not just internet would you recommend?

    Hi,

    I'm not an iOS expert. My neighbour has an iPhone and would like to put an adblocker on her phone.

    She wants it to block ads in apps other than internet.

    Free or paid, though free preferred. What's your recommendation?

    Also no jailbreaking.

    Apple Pay on Apple Online Store via Safari on macOS states Payment Not Complete

    I seem to be having an issue with Apple Pay on my iPhone. I only tested this with the Apple Online Store so I do not know if I have the issue elsewhere. However, I am able to use Apple Pay at physical stores just fine.

    What I am experiencing is, I have Apple Pay configured to use my Apple Card. I attempted to purchase some iTunes Gift Cards on the Apple Online Store. When I double-tapped to perform the Apple Pay transaction, I got a notice that the Payment Failed. However, the order actually DID complete, and it is showing as a pending transaction on my Apple Card.

    Since the order did go through successfully, and the gift cards are able to be redeemed, I think this is an issue with the Apple Pay portion.

    Has anyone experienced this issue before? Why does it say Payment Not Complete or Payment Failed if it actually did go through?

    I need to track my weight on a daily basis and want to be able to see a systematic graph with daily entries.I think I am missing some keywords so please help me get an app that will do exactly this

    What’s the hype around Halide?

    Using an XR on iOS 13, I don't understand why everyone seems to love the Halide camera app so much. The portrait mode on pets looks horrendous, the customization I find to be very minimal... apart from being able to manually adjust the exposure I really am not finding any advantages over the stock camera app. Anyone here that can enlighten me a little?

    I'm new to the iOS ecosystem, I just bought a used iPhone 8 Plus and I need some help in setting it up.

    So I have been an Android user since 2014 so I know nothing about Apple iPhones. I just bought a Used iPhone 8 Plus 256GB as my second phone beside the Galaxy S8 and I have to say the phone feels premium.

    So I am required to create an Apple ID. Does the Apple ID have to end with @iCloud.com or @me.com or can I make it end with @gmail.com or hotmail.com so I can get emails sent over there?

    The previous owner has signed out of the Apple account and also turned off Find My Location, and the owner has reset and erased everything to factory settings. The phone's IMEI has been checked and it is clean not blacklisted.

    Extracting Whatsapp data then restoring it

    I need to install a modded whatsapp version without jailbreaking my device. However this would require me to delete the original whatsapp application which will delete my chats.

    My plan was to backup the iphone with itunes, extract whatsapp data with some itunes extractor, then restore whatsapp data to the phone after installing the modded version.

    Do you guys think this is possible? If yes what extracting software do you recommend using?

    Cant disable 2 factor on 13.4.1 Its just greyed out. Had a hell of time setting up a used phone after the screen broke one my old one. Luckily I had a old macbook laying around. Anyway to shut off 2 factor??

    WiFi issues when using Bluetooth simultaneously

    Do anyone experience WiFi not working properly when connected to a Bluetooth device? Turning WiFi off and on works for some occasion but I have been noticing that when I use Bluetooth the WiFi connectivity isn't good or should I say very slow. The network connection is good on other devices so no complaints there. But when I turn off the Bluetooth it works great. What's the deal here? If anyone experienced it?

    Anybody else think it sucks that long pressing an image in Safari no longer lets you then tap on it to view just the image?

    Prior to 13.4.1, long pressing an image in Safari would put the image in a "card" and tapping on the card would open just the image in Safari. It was super useful for opening images in full size when there were scaled elements on a page. iOS doesn't do that anymore but no one has posted about it.

    (Iphone XR) WiFi seems connected but no Internet

    This happens to me all the time and couldn't find any solution yet. Tried pretty much everything.

    When I toggle off and on WiFi, internet starts working again. It is so annoying that I have to that every time otherwise can't reach the internet on my phone.

    Apps not downloading

    So I uninstalled some apps because my storage is full and now I want to redownload them but for some reason it's not even downloading. It'll do the little circle in the App Store and then when I exit and go back it's back to the download button. If anyone knows what's happening please help. Thank you in advance.

    Edit: I fixed it I just powered my phone off and went back. When I went back it asked for my Apple ID and it downloaded. I forgot that yesterday I had an update.

    After numerous failed attempts, I finally found the ultimate solution for Gmail dark mode!

    I've gone through so many different methods to figure out how to get dark mode. Not a single one worked and I was irritated but I finally found a solution.

    1. Disable all your Gmail accounts

    2. Turn dark mode off and set iOS to light mode

    3. Create a fake Gmail in the app. You can skip the phone number part

    4. After finishing, while in Gmail, go into settings and change theme to dark

    5. (OPTIONAL) Turn dark mode back on in iOS settings

    6. Turn your other accounts back on

    Now unfortunately you will have to keep the other account with dark mode on, otherwise you'll lose dark mode. It shouldn't really matter though since you won't receive any new emails from the new account.

    Instagram notifications not working

    Hi, I have an XR on iOS 13.4.1 and I recently factory resetted it, through iTunes as usual and after a day or two I realised that everytime I went into Instagram the notifications were there but I didn't get a badge or a banner, but if I enter Instagram and there is a DM or so waiting then there will be a badge but never a banner. I know a factory reset wil fix this but I want an easier solution.. Thanks in advance!!
