Error code (2001) when trying to restore iPhone 3GS Posted: 05 Apr 2020 11:59 PM PDT I bought an iPhone 3GS white as it was my first ever Apple device. When I received it, it needed a reset as it had the other users information. I completely forgot you could reset it through setting but I reset it though iTunes on my computer. After the restore finished, I got an iTunes error code 2001. No idea why anyone know how to fix it? Thanks for any help [link] [comments] |
I Cannot Get My Order To Go Through On Apple's Website Posted: 05 Apr 2020 11:32 PM PDT I'm trying to order an iPhone 11 Pro Max on Apple's website. My previous phone (iPhone 7 plus) has decided to wig out on me and is not super functional. I've been putting off buying a new one for a while now, but Friday I decided to place an order for an iPhone 11 Pro Max. That order got cancelled because my billing address didn't match what the bank had. After a lengthy, but very helpful, conversation with Apple Support I thought that the issue was resolved and I would be able to place my order again. I made sure that all the information was correct and placed the order around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday. I was checking my emails just a minute ago and it said my order was cancelled. There was no phone call or anything. With the first cancellation there was a phone call that told me they were going to cancel the order, but that I could place it again with correct info and it would be fine. This is very frustrating to me, and I would love someone to help me be able to get an order to actually go through. [link] [comments] |
My iPhone X wont stop rebooting Posted: 05 Apr 2020 07:40 PM PDT It won't stop rebooting. It never gets past the Apple logo and it endlessly loops while it's plugged in. The second I unplug it, it turns off. It isn't being recognized by my laptop for some reason so I can't use iTunes to reboot it or whatever. Any advice? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Apr 2020 11:19 PM PDT So i have an iphone 7 and it just randomly restarted. It didn't just restart though, it flashed between the restart loading screen and the home screen repeatedly for a couple minutes. BUT the weird thing is i was skyping my boyfriend and his iphone 7 did the EXACT same thing about 10 minutes earlier. We're both very confused why both our phones did this literally within minutes of one another. [link] [comments] |

Iphone 6s - Problems with Touch ID and Rear Microphone Posted: 05 Apr 2020 09:58 AM PDT Hello, I have an Iphone 6s and recently two problems have arisen: A) The screen broke, I bought a new one and replaced it. It worked fine for months, but now Touch ID has stopped working. When I turn on the iPhone it shows the message "It was not possible to activate the touch id on this iphone". I bought a new button, it replaces but the error remains. It does all operations except fingerprint recognition. B) The rear microphone suddenly stopped working. When I record videos with the rear camera, I only hear "static". However, the other microphones work. Already repeats all the definitions, I updated the IOS to the latest version, "deleted" the Iphone and set it up as if it were a new one, but the 2 problems remain. Someone can help me? Thank you very much for your attention! [link] [comments] |
iPhone X water damage am I fucked? Posted: 05 Apr 2020 02:18 PM PDT So my girlfriend used her iPhone X today to play music while she showered long story short now the screen is off but the phone is still on. We placed it in rice for about 20min. Then she tried to charge it, I don't believe water got in the charging port. The phone screen came on for about 5 sec while flashing a white light so I took the charger out and placed the phone back in the rice. Is this iPhone past the point of fixing itself with rice? Did we kill the screen? Thank you for any help with this. The phone is currently back in rice as we are at work for the night. [link] [comments] |

Trying to download all photos/videos from iPhone to MacBook Pro Posted: 05 Apr 2020 12:45 PM PDT iPhone X to fairly new and recently updated MacBook Pro. There's over 25k photos/videos and we need to have them backed up to a HDD just in case but the Photos app does not import the photos and Image Capture either fails somewhere in the middle importing or doesn't import anything at all. Is there another way I can pull all of these photos off the phone and on to a computer? I was thinking maybe upgrade iCloud storage for a month and at least get it all on there and figure out from that point how to export them from that, but if there's another way please let me know. Posted: 05 Apr 2020 11:12 AM PDT If you drop your iPhone XR, does internal damage happen directly? Or can it take a couple of days to be visible? It's like a ticking sound which comes whenever I hold my iPhone. Plus it happens sometimes. How could it be something wrong in the hardware if it happens sometimes only and not always? I have seen some issues with my phone (like hearing clicking noises), but it began to happen 10 days after I dropped it, so I guess it is a software issue or the sound might be from the protective cover because it is thick. What do you think? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Apr 2020 10:58 AM PDT My phones site button suddenly got stuck and it won't allow me to turn the phone on at all and when I plug my phone in to charge it tells me it needs plugged into a computer to restart but I can't restart as the button is stuck [link] [comments] |
Popping noise coming from top speaker iphone XS MAX Posted: 05 Apr 2020 06:38 AM PDT so recently before going to bed i began hearing a popping sound coming from right next to me. after searching all around my bed i realized that the sound seemed to be coming from my iphone. the speaker were you put next to your ear during a call, is the one making the popping sound. after turning my phone off and on it seems that my phone keeps on making the popping sound. the only time it stops is when i lower the volume completely and turn off the ringer. I just wanted to know if anyone knows what is up with my phone HAHA or if anyone has had anything similar to what is happening with my phone? Hopefully some one can help me. PS: the sound is a POP sound. Also it seems that the sound only happens when my ringer is on (up on the side of phone) can anyone tell me what's wrong with my phone plz? 😅😅😅 [link] [comments] |

Liquid damage BCS of the Apple screen replacement Posted: 05 Apr 2020 04:14 AM PDT Back in November 2020, I purchased the iPhone 11 Pro with a contract at T-Mobile in the Netherlands. It was working perfectly, but I noticed a month later, that the resolution of the screen was a bit dimmed and the brightness was a bit low, so I visited an Apple Store for some advice. Advisors suggested replacing my screen with a new one with no extra costs since I had a warranty and it was not performing well. Approximately, three weeks ago it started showing some issues with the Face ID, so I sent it to the Apple service center (with carrier services, because Apple store is temporarily closed) and they came back at me with an update that it had Liquid damage. Honestly, I do treat my iPhone quite well and I pretty careful, not with this one, but with every iPhone that I had before. I was a bit shocked so I requested from their side to send me back the iPhone since I could not afford it for repair. Liquid damages are not covered by the 1-year warranty. It is pretty understanable It arrived some days ago, so I unboxed it to check it and I saw that they had removed the EUR 45,00 screen protector. Apple has the policies that when you deliver something, in this case, my iPhone, it has to be ONLY the phone. I did not know that, but it was okay. I discovered something new. I saw at the top of my screen where the microphone is and on the left side that the screen was a bit open. So then, I started thinking maybe my iPhone really has liquid damage, but why the screen is open and how many days and months has it been like that? I called Apple support and they informed me that the technicians might forget it open. The confusion here was now, which technician? The one which changed the screen back in December, or the one three weeks ago? They will run and investigation about it to check the liquid damage.. Tomorrow Monday, I get the news. Apple advertises it and claims that it is the strongest iPhone ever made. However, I still do not understand how can an IP86 and the strongest, highest water and dust resistant iPhone ever made, can get liquid damage (either the tiniest, smallest water damage from a glass spilling, rain or whatever). Personally, I believe this water damage has happened from the screen that has been opened and not replace well. I am pretty sure that the strongest iPhone ever made, could not get that easily a water damage. What do you think of my situation and what should I do? Please I am open to suggestions. I feel a bit overwhelmed and stressed out from this situation because I do know I have not damaged my iPhone. [link] [comments] |
