- (Iphone xs) Taking a picture at night shows the light blurring. I try to clean my screen and my camera lenses for a better quality. Yet, it doesn’t always work. Could the problem be that my screen is broken and the back of my phone is too?

| My iPhone 11 isn't syncing photos from my Windows 10 PC Posted: 22 Apr 2020 12:33 AM PDT So I just got a brand new iPhone 11 pro, I restored it from a backup I had on my Windows 10 computer, I installed iTunes from the Microsoft store, all seemed fine and dandy, photos were synced to my iPhone... until I tried syncing one more time, and some new photos I added to the existing albums didn't show up on my iPhone; instead, at the bottom of the albums they simply said "Syncing..." At first I tried simply unticking the photo sync from iTunes, but that just erased all my photos on my iPhone, and I couldn't copy any of my old or new photos onto my iPhone, I only have the photos on my camera roll now. (sidenote, I clicked "Keep photos" when I unticked the photo sync if that helps explain anything) Things I tried so far were:
And none of them worked, so I hope anyone here knows what might be happening and what I could do. Is the problem on the phone or the computer's side? My iOS version is 13.4.1. A reply on an Apple Discussions thread said there was a bug related to the "Syncing..." and missing photos problem but that was posted over a month ago so I don't know how relevant that might still be. Posted: 21 Apr 2020 10:54 PM PDT Aside from the fact that it thinks every anime character is the same "person" to be categorized together, the people function has never once properly categorized an Asian person saved in my camera roll. Whether it be photos taken with friends or saved images of kpop singers, actors, Japanese singers, etc. seems to only be an issue for Asian people, as any other race seems to be categorized properly in my roll. I'm pretty shocked such a racist flaw is still unfixed. I mean some of the people it mixes up aren't even remotely similar, even down to chin shape, eyes, hair color, etc. Is there any way to tell it "no that person isn't the person in this category" or "this person is actually this person?" I can't find a way to remove a photo from the person's folder. I'd like to "teach" my camera how to tell people apart. Pretty absurd that the feature exists when it's so poor. Side note, what makes it choose a person to categorize? At first I thought it was frequency of appearance, but it decided to make a category for the one picture I have of Obi Wan. | App Store verification loop problem Posted: 21 Apr 2020 04:01 PM PDT I'm on an XR. I just cancelled the credit card that was hooked up to my Apple ID, and now whenever I scan my face to download an app it asks me to first put in my Apple ID password and next verify my "Billing information," which I guess means address/phone number. I have none selected for a card, as I'm not interested in adding one right now. I put in all the info and click Done, and then it loads for a second and starts the whole process over again. Meaning I can't download any apps right now. This is super frustrating, how do I fix it? [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone doesn’t ring when screen is locked Posted: 21 Apr 2020 10:43 AM PDT My phone won't ring when it's locked, if someone calls me I get no notification about it at all, it doesn't display anything or make any noise, there is no notification on the lock screen after. I only know about it because then if they leave a voicemail, I get a notification, and also my service provider texts me to tell me I missed a call with the person & time When my phone is unlocked, it rings like normal. My phone isn't set to Do Not Disturb or anything, and it only applies to calls. I get WhatsApp messages, texts, Skype calls, WhatsApp calls, email notifications and notifications for every app when the phone is locked It's an iPhone 8 Plus if that makes a difference Anyone know what I could try? | Posted: 21 Apr 2020 01:48 PM PDT Hi everyone, so i am having a problem with my Iphone SX right now, i was on the phone and a bit low on battery (8%?) when it suddenly turned of. It then tried to restart by itself all the time, it showed the apple logo and then it made a green flashing screen and it restared again. It did this over and over. I then connected it to itunes and it showed the restore symbol on my phone. However with Itunes i could not update the phone nor restore it. Nothing worked, no hard reset, no recovery mode nothing. I then connected it to the power supply and right now after half an hour it just shows me that the battery is empty. It doesn´t react to anything anyomre. I would like to bring it to a store but with the virus now i am on lockdown, so everything is closed. Does anyone have an idea what that could be? Was i just unlucky? I did disinfect my phone when i came home but i did that since the Virus Pandemic started so no idea if that did anything. [link] [comments]  |

| My iMessages/FaceTime is acting up Posted: 21 Apr 2020 04:53 PM PDT I have a iPhone XS (iOS 13.3.1) I used to have a iPhone 6 Plus until this January when I switched to XS. I started to notice that sometimes iMessage and text message won't work. One of my friend has two houses and when she stay at her house that further away from me, she won't receive my messages (This wasn't a problem on my 6 Plus). Weird thing is it would say it delivered and sometimes say it been read, but when I would hang out with her, she would tell me she hasn't received anything. Also, FaceTime (Video and Audio), calling and cellular text wouldn't work either. I thought it was just a problem with one individual but when I would FaceTime another friend he wouldn't receive it but everything else would. The only thing I have tried is change my send and receive to my email and that didn't work so I asking for some help. Please and thank you in advance [link] [comments]  |
| Lots of random apps have just downloaded to my iPhone 8 Posted: 21 Apr 2020 04:06 PM PDT Quite panicked right now. I have an iPhone 8, 64gb storage. I have quite a lot of photos which I need to sort through and delete (10,000) but other than that my phone runs smoothly. I just had my phone locked to make dinner, and when I opened my phone again, I had the message 'unable to install (random app I can't remember the name of after panic deleting) due to storage.' I close the message, only to be faced with my home screen FULL of apps I've never downloaded, some still in the process of downloading (mostly mobile games and some Chinese apps I've never seen and couldn't tell the name of.) I un-downloaded all of it in a panic. Things seem normal now but I'm scared that something has got into my phone? I'm not very good with tech but I'd always assumed iPhones can't get hacked. And no, I don't have auto download on my apps switched on. I'm thinking of changing my Apple ID password but I'm honestly terrified that something is watching my screen and will just hack my new password. Any advice? [link] [comments]  |

If someone sends you a photo on an iPhone (I have an 8+, I'm not sure what the other person has. I just know they have an iPhone) and the location is embedded in the photo, that is where the photo was taken, correct? The photo was sent to from their phone to my phone and wasn't able to go from: a third party > to the person who sent me the photo > to me. Basically worried a thief will be able to get into my phone that I recently removed from FMI (don't think it was erased). However if it was erased/restored by thief and set up as a new phone for someone else, would it show up on that phone that I'd removed it from my Find My iPhone account?
