    Love how the files app widget always shows me what files I recently worked on.I can just click on it and it takes me to the document in whatever app I was working with.

    After some tries, I changed the Smart Keyboard folio with the normal keyboard + mouse so that the tablet (that’s the 2018 version of the 12.9) was lighter and thinner. I am very happy for this choice! Not using pc anymore since 2019! So far so good

    What are some reasons you still need a PC/Mac over using your iPad/iPad pro for everything?

    I see people regularly say they still need one as their main driver and their iPad can't takeover. What are some of those features/functions you would need in an iPad to use it as your only computing device (besides phone)?

    Genuinely curious as a new iPad Pro user!

    What is everyone's wishes for the rumoured 2020 iPad Air? Currently it is believed to be an 11-inch device with in-screen Touch ID, as per this report from 9to5Mac.

    Here are my wishes: Same body, camera, Face ID and some internals as the 11-inch iPad Pro (first-gen), with changes being the A13 chip, 9" body to replace the iPad mini, WiFi 6, a fast-charging USB-C port and removed features such as ProMotion, less screen brightness, a single/dual flash (instead of quad True Tone) and two speakers to save costs.

    Question to anyone who owns the Logitech Combo Touch.

    It will be soon available in europe and I'm thinking about getting it, but I would like to know how it performs while using teamviewer or any other remote desktop app and steam's remote play.

    One of the main uses I would have for it would be for that exactly, remote accessing my pc and to use steam's remote play too.

    Any experience you may have with it you can share it, I'll more than glad to take it!

    Upgrading iPad mini and going back to iPad from Surface

    My wife loves her iPad mini 3 so I'd like to upgrade her to the 5, I'm also looking into moving back to iPad after having been on the Surface Pro 6 for a year.

    For her the main use remains games (Gordon Ramsay cooking whatever, Candy Crush etc.) and social networks. My main use is reddit and media consumption, Netflix and the likes. My beef with the SP6 is the horrible touch interface that is Win10.

    Questions though:

    • Did Apple announce / hint at an upgrade to the mini series yet?
    • Is the mini 5 viable on iOS 13? Speed is crucial for her...
    • Is the 4th gen 12.9" Pro still prone to bending issues?
    • Is the Smart Folio keyboard comparable to the SP6 keyboard? In terms of typing and how easy it is to take it off? Does it still leave traces on the screen?

    YouTube app defaults to 480p

    I have the 2018 ipad pro and use it a lot for watching YouTube tutorials whilst working along to them on my computer. It constantly defaults back to playing 480p videos after every time I close the app and and open it again. I've looked through the settings and searched online with no luck. Does anyone have a solution to this please?

    iPad as External Hard Drive for Mac

    Has anyone tried using their iPad (Pro or otherwise) as an external hard drive for their mac? Are there apps that anyone here might recommend.

    I have working files that I travel with (currently just upstairs to downstairs lol, but you know what I mean), and given that I have all this space on the iPad, why carry a hard drive AND an iPad, if maybe my iPad could house those files.
