    Hello r/jailbreak!

    We are releasing a new version of our "Can I Jailbreak" chart.

    Our current one has served us well over the past 5 years but it's starting to become a bit too hard to keep updated.

    So today we bring you a new and improved version

    Some things you may notice:

    • We have moved from Reddit's native wiki to Google Sheets. The main reason for this was the lack of customization that Reddit's Wiki offered.
    • This version has a lot more jailbreaks (Currently 74) on it, especially for older versions. We have been doing a lot of research over the past few months to try and make it as accurate as possible
    • Some jailbreaks will link to theiphonewiki's page for certain tools that no longer have operational websites. We decided to do this as we want this chart to be as complete as possible and to make sure no jailbreak is forgotten.
    • This will be updated in real-time minutes after a jailbreak is released or a new iOS version is released

    If you see any of the following, please let us know:

    • A missing jailbreak
    • A missing OS
    • Incorrect information about a jailbreak's OS or device compatibility

    Or if you have any feedback in general about this chart, we would love to hear it.

    I see lots of posts referencing how long one's involvement in jailbreaking has been (user/dev otherwise), which has led me to believe that there is some value in the words of those who've been jailbreaking for a while:

    Jailbreaking these little computers, along with all the enthusiastic support from developers in helping users do so, is a gateway to progress unlike anything else. Taking a moment to look at everything that has gone down since 2007, and recognizing that its driving force has NOT been monetary in nature, I am able to see how capable we all are as a single unit of innovation and progress.

    Thank you all for helping shape the road I've been traveling for 13 years now.

    I've been a jailbreak user since the first iPhone was released. All I wanted was to have a digital camera, an iPod, and a mobile phone all in one device - which the iPhone finally accomplished. But at the time it was exclusively locked to AT&T. This led me to the jailbreaking community, which was a gateway to everything else: modding an xbox and a ps2, circuit bending, building PCs, building analogue electronic instruments, running an apple device repair service while in college, and pursuing a masters' degree and so on.

    If this is what happens out of the sheer pleasure and interest to do so, imagine how much progress can be made if the same efforts are applied to other areas of society that could use a dose of improvement.

    I have spent the past year or so I guess, away from the jailbreaking community. I have decided to come back, I will be developing free tweaks. I have a couple projects I need to complete before I start to do this.

    You may remember me from the ReRa1n project. I will be making more projects like that.

    [Question] Indispensable Reasons For Jailbreaking

    Hey guys! Since it's 2020, and we're now on iOS 13 with more powerful devices than ever, I wanted to check in with our community on tweaks you just can't do without. I'm not talking about aesthetics, I'm talking about raw functionality. What are some tweaks that make your iPhone or iPad so much better and more functional, that you JB the moment it's available? Some tweaks that put our devices on par with Android devices in general? Stuff that should be stock in your collective opinions. Some recent ones for me have been CallBar XS, so that my experience with the phone isn't interrupted when a call comes in, BioProtect XS so that I can lock as many things as I want, and a cool one I haven't used is NFC Writer which seems amazing. Obviously those are all by the same dev, but something up there with those, Fileza, or Pasithea 2 where you have a functional clipboard that should be stock. Begin!

    Edit: a huge thank you to all the developers out there innovating and sticking around. I feel that the JB community has never looked more promising, with super-stable exploits that are easy to use, with constant creativity being injected by OG's and newcomers alike. Having been Jailbreaking for 9+ years now, it's never felt more reliable, secure, and exciting! So again, thanks to all of you out there working your butts off!

    I lose 1% about every 6-7 minutes on active use such as scrolling on instagram & using safari.. I don't know if I'm just overthinking about having good battery health but It feels like my battery drain kinda quick..

    I have a iPhone 6s version 13.3 that is jailbroken with Unc0ver, my iPhone randomly reboots whenever I'm doing something, like when I'm watching YouTube, I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me find a solution to make my phone stop randomly rebooting.
