On a schedule it would grab photos from my phone and throw them on my drive. I could set it up to mirror directories. Contacts dissapear soon after saving them Posted: 18 Apr 2020 03:45 AM PDT Hi, So on my dad's phone (XS Max/Pro or however it is called, running the latest iOS) the newly added contacts keeps dissapering soon after saving them. I tried everything I found online (reset network settings, groups, disable/enable icloud, etc). He is syncing everything with iCloud (not google or any other cloud services). It is really annoying as this is his business phone and he always has to give a message to the new contacts on whatsapp with their name so he can remember who they are. Whats on your iOS14 feature wishlist? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 08:59 AM PDT Hi guys, now that default apps/true widget have been rumoured to be a staple of iOS14, my mind has begun dreaming up what other features I'd love to see in the future. Personally I think notifications need to be completely overhauled (check out what Android is doing for some context). But I would love to see the following small changes added: Silent Mode exemption for phone calls: Something that was available on my OnePlus, usually when someone calls it's urgent so I'd prefer having a ring come in unless otherwise specified. Folders in dock: Again small change, but would make my homescreen that much cleaner. (Can already be done). Update to Clock app: Multiple timers with labels and easier alarm integration with HomeKit. iCloud syncing for app downloads/organization: Maybe pie in the sky, but having the option to download an app on an iPhone/iPad at the same time and having them moved the same folder would be neat. Still new to IOS and need some help with iMessage. Posted: 17 Apr 2020 04:09 PM PDT So I purchased a iPad Air today and got it all set up. But now in iMessage on my phone I can't see when someone has read the message, yes these people are also on iPhone. Even after they have responded it still shows as delivered. Possible to use iPad as an airplay reciever? Posted: 17 Apr 2020 02:36 PM PDT So I found an old iPad I forgot about and got it up and running. Battery doesn't last more than ten minutes though...... so my plan is to leave it plugged in and charging at all times and plugged into an aux port on my outdoor speakers. Trying to figure out if it's possible to make the iPad into and airplay reciever so I can airplay to the iPad and the sound come out through the speakers. Any ideas?
