    Not sure if everyone knows this but you can hold down the "done" button when viewing all the open safari tabs to then delete all tabs at once.

    It's a game changer, rather than manually closing all the tabs.

    Look up words in Apple news app?

    Just realised that Apple dictionary is not available in Apple news. When you select a word it only shows "copy".

    Anyone knows how to enable dictionary in news app?

    I'm on an iPhone XS Max, latest iOS.

    So videos dosent work on any browsers but the audio is still working. Ps I have already tried to use other browsers chrome, opera etc. does anyone know of a fix?

    Issues accessing .heic photos

    I recently had to factory reset my iPhone to fix (not really) an issue I was having. When trying to restore my phones backup it was corrupted so I last all my data. I used a 3rd party software to retrieve my photos and downloaded them to my PC. Now I am trying to view these photos and everything I've tried has not work. I've 1) downloaded .heic viewer extensions 2) used converters 3) tried uploading to google photos 4) tried uploading to google drive 5) tried opening to Dropbox. Since none of those options are working I am curious if the photos themselves could be corrupt. Any other possible solutions are appreciated

    Hey,

    is it possible to add a WiFi Network (like on Android) which is currently not present.

    For example: My grandma got an iPhone I helped her to set it up. I also wanted to add her WiFi (I know the SSID + password) from her home. Is this possible to pre-configure the WiFi on an iPhone?

    Trigger password autofill via keyboard hotkey

    Is it possible to trigger the autofill / password dialog via keyboard hotkey? I mostly disable the „shortcut keyboard" as it does take space in the bottom of the browser. If I need to login at a website in Safari it would be awesome to have a keyboard shortcut (using hardware keyboard) to trigger my password manager / autofill.

    Any ideas?

    Alarm app?

    I'm using Alarmy right now and I really enjoy the wakeup reminder feature. If you're not aware, it's got this feature where when you dismiss an alarm it'll send you a notification after a while to make sure you're awake and if you don't click into it it'll reset your alarm and repeat until you actually accept. It's quite effective. Unfortunately this feature is locked behind a monthly subscription for $5 a month which is pretty ridiculous. That's like $60 a year. Does anyone know of an app with equivalent features that's a one time payment?

    Screen Mirroring iPhone-to-iPhone without WiFi around

    Hi all, hopefully I am at the right place to ask this question. I was trying to find a workaround/feature/app that would allow me to use the second iPhone as a video monitor for original Camera app. I use my iPhone to shoot some vlogs sometimes, and I use my main cameras - not the front one. And the only way I can see myself is sticking some mirror with the tape to the selfie stick/tripod, so I could see the reflection of the screen. I had a few attempts with a mirror, but it is definitely something I do not want to do in the future.

    The best app I have managed to find - Filmic Pro Remote that allows Peer-to-Peer connection and even more it provides some basic external control for it's main app on another device. HOWEVER, and this is a big "but" for me - main app Filmic Pro constantly drops some frames, it's inconsistent, and this is the reason I am not willing to invest 15$ (their camera app) + 10$ (remote app). Some external control would be nice, however not necessary at all, I would be completely satisfied if it would be possible just to see what's happening on the main device.

    Both iPhones are not jailbraken, so I am looking just for native iOS solution/ or an app.

    Had anybody else experienced the issue of the phone getting hanged for sometime on an app and randomly crashes? I've been experiencing this issue since iOS 13.3.1. Anything which can solve it?

    Ps: I do not close my apps in the app switcher.

    New iPhone - some iMessages with people aren’t syncing?

    Some of my message threads are not updating on my new iPhone. When I click into the text it goes from "iMessage" to "text message" and is green.

    Any way to fix this? Since there's a good amount of threads this is happening to.

    Rapid xs discharge (software issue?)

    So i bought an used xs, battery health is 83%. I factory reset the device, transferred my stuff, and the first night there was a 10% loss in battery level (but in the battery settings it was clear that it was due to indexing or stuff, because the drain happened in 1 hour time period and after that there was no drain). Then 2 nights afterwards the loss was 3% and 1% a night. That was great. However, then i updated to 13.4.1 and now it has lost 10% for two nights straight (in battery settings the discharge is gradual through the night, so it doesn't look like indexing). Drives me nuts. Battery settings shows no apps running on that time frame. I had the same 10% loss a night problem in my previous iphone 6s, but that could have been caused by a 3rd party battery, because at first the phone held charge for 2 days straight (with moderate use) and after a moment the 10% discharge started taking place. Any thoughts? Edit: i have background app refresh turned off.
