    I downloaded all of my photos from messages in iCloud. Now my messages looks like this under iPhone storage. Is there any easy way to fix it?

    Where can I simply see the time-length of my FaceTime video/audio calls on my Mac?

    Firstly I realize that FaceTime video/audio calls on my phone do not show up in my FaceTime history on my Mac, and vice versa. On my phone, I have no issue seeing the call history information; it's the same as seeing the call history info for a regular call.

    However, on my Mac, I only have the dates listed (not even the start-time — the only way a FaceTime call shows me the start time is if I check the history within the same day, otherwise it will simply say "Wednesday" or "yesterday"). When I click the (i) symbol, it simply brings up the contact's information (nothing about the call itself). Attached is an image of what I see.

    I would like to know the timestamps of the call (particularly so I can calculate duration). I am am online tutor and this would help me tremendously with any hiccups I have in invoicing.

    So I broke the LCD in the iPad, its been a great last couple of days because this is my second iOS device that's been broken since Thursday. I've had it for almost a month now if anyone's curious. Its a refurb I purchased from apple and immediately put Apple Care on, and I'm so thankful I did.

    I came here to see what everyone thought I should do about it. Obviously Apple Stores are closed, currently having a subpar experience with my mail in for repair on my iPhone, and I'm just not sure what to do or do about it. I know some BestBuy locations are AASP's but I don't trust them as much as I do Apple. Obviously if thats what I got thats what I got.

    Hey i heard the Charger you get with the airpods pro (only the cable) looks different than the one u use for your phone. So do i stick the cable in my normal iphone charger or would that break it?

    Help with iCloud Drive. Can it be used just as cloud storage without taking up space on my physical hard drive?

    Just upgraded to the 2 TB plan. Up until now I only had like 10gb on iCloud drive. So I upgraded and copied my entire mp3 and movie collection from my desktop (which has a 2tb hd). And then my MacBook that only has 512gb filled up as it downloads whatever is in the cloud. I didn't know it worked like that. I thought it just downloaded files that u clicked on. Am I just dumb or is there a different setting. Basically I want to be able to store on iCloud Drive but not also take space on my MacBook. I quickly deleted the 1.2tb of music I transferred over without checking my iOS devices. Did my iPad and iPhone also attempt to auto download the entire iCloud Drive contents? I don't think so right cuz Ive always seen little cloud icons in the file app next to the files names of files I haven't opened on the devices. I never noticed the 10gb I had on my iCloud Drive take up space on my laptop or desktop before cuz it was a lot less memory compared to 1.2tb.

    So I got an iPhone 11 Pro as a hammy down but there's water damages. I took it to ubreakifix, and they just told me it's unfixable after they did their water damage diagnostics. I have no idea what to do with this phone now. I don't want to sell it as parts only. Is there anything I could do? Thank you

    If I clone a smaller drive onto a bigger drive (not the opposite), will the (bigger) destination drive's storage space be locked, or will I be able to add files?

    I have 2 internal HD, a 500 gb SSD and a 1 tb classic drive, and both are bootable. The 500 gb one is my everyday HD, the other one is used for storage 99% of the time. Used to boot in case of issues.

    I need to reformat the 1tb one as it has "issues that can't be fixed", says Disk Utility.

    So first I'm copying all the docs on an external HD. But to keep it bootable, I was thinking of cloning the 500 gb one on the 1tb one, to get its system, and then on the 1tb one, delete all unnecessary documents and bring back the right files.

    Is that possible, or does cloning lock the destination disk?

    Macbook air 2009 shuts down (no os installed)

    so my old macbook turns off while im in recovery mode, the partition is already in blank ready to get the os installed, but when i install the os it goes over an hour and it still shows that its checking if my laptop can get the os installed. Could be it a faulty hdd?

    Any way to migrate WhatsApp chats from Android to iOS?

    Hi everyone,

    I'm getting an iPhone again (for the last year or so I've been using an Android device), the thing is that I accumulated chats, images and audio messages on WhatsApp that I would like not to lose when I return to iOS.

    Any way to do that migration? If possible avoiding using 3rd party solutions?

    macbook pro wipes keychains after i uninstall an app

    strange behavior i noticed recently.

    when i uninstall an application, immediately my keychain information is wiped (google drive credentials, outlook all say that accounts are not found).

    when i reset it asks me to create a new login for my machine but my installed applications are still there. the annoying thing is that my preferences and logins for my browsers and extensions are all gone.

    have you guys experienced this? i'm on the latest catalina

    2018 MacBook Pro Audio Port Issue

    Hey all.

    I have a 2018 MacBook Pro. It was running Mojave until today and is now running Catalina 10.15.4.
    A few days ago, I was in a Discord call playing Minecraft (if that matters) and suddenly my headphones stopped working. People sounded super far away and quiet. I figured it was the specific pair of headphones so I got three other pairs and none of them worked. I couldn't hear anyone on Discord, couldn't hear spotify, but if a youtube video had music in the background, I could kinda hear it (but not the person speaking)

    I contacted Apple support online and they suggested I make sure I checked "show volume in menu bar". It solved the issue for that night, but a couple of days later, it stopped working again. I am able to hear without headphones, but I need to be able to use the port because I have schoolwork. I called support tonight and they said I need to bring my laptop in to a distributor. I hope this isn't a hardware issue. This laptop is not old.

    At one point, the sound settings didn't even show the default macbook speakers or mic as an option. then my computer randomly shut down after the fan turned on briefly.

    Things I have tried:
    Restarting computer

    Resetting SMC

    Resetting PRAM

    Updating to Catalina

    Contacting Apple Support (twice)
