[Feature] Split View and Slide Over via Assistive Touch Menu Posted: 03 Mar 2020 09:45 AM PST Maybe I missed this somewhere, but I have just noticed such a feat in Assistive Touch that I attempted to search to see if it has already been discussed, yet Apple's own documentation doesn't appear to have such information presented, more so because its likely just be introduced in the most current beta and have has not officially launched. With the current beta of iPadOS 13.4 Beta 3, I was fooling around with the Assistive Touch menu to modify a layout of my liking. Upon tinkering with its options I noticed a "new" set of options involving Multi-Tasking. Using just a mouse connected to the iPad and having the right mouse button to trigger the Assistive Touch menu, one is able to invoke several actions such as Pin new app on Left, Right or open in Slide Over. Clicking an option brings up the dock to allow a single click of the left mouse button on an app icon and invoke the action. No need to click and drag. See below for more. [Bug] Kernel panics? Posted: 03 Mar 2020 08:43 AM PST Has anyone been seeing random kernel panics with the latest public beta? I submitted the data via the Feedback app but I've yet to see a reply from Apple to indicate that they've acknowledged it. [Bug] Audio streaming issues in 13.4 b4? Posted: 02 Mar 2020 08:44 PM PST I noticed this a bit in b2 but it now seems more prevalent on b3. I'm finding some of my audio streaming apps just... stop the audio. The app doesn't crash and is still responsive but I have to kick the audio back in. For example: iHeart app: The audio will stop and the Play button will spin like its buffering and never recover. I stop and start the stream again and it works instantly. Facebook: (this one I just noticed) I'm watching a video and the audio stops. The video keeps playing but the audio cuts out. It's like something is interfering with it. Pause the video and start it again and the audio comes back... for a minute or so. The odd thing is I have another app that streams audio much like ShoutCast and it works with no issues. Anyone else seen this? Edit: This only seems to happen on WiFi. Home, work, no difference. Looks like this is not the case. Happens on cell now, too. Edit 2: Gah!
