| New AppleTV 4K user - I am impressed. Posted: 28 Feb 2020 07:51 PM PST I have an LG C9 and Denon X1600 receiver with Polk Audio speakers, 5.1 and probably staying with that config. I have had Fire TV, Roku, and have a Shield TV Pro. I'm an Android person, no iphone for me although my wife has one. I have Spectrum internet and needed the Spectrum app so I could get AT&TSports.net from my cable service to see my Pirates games. I bought the Apple TV 4K because the Spectrum app is available on it, also it does Dolby Vision. I have to say it is awesome. The picture is beautiful even on cable TV stations. I like the remote even though it gets beat up a lot. I've disconnected and packed away all the other gizmos I've had connected to my TV that made it complicated. My LG and Harmony remotes also work flawlessly with it. This is a very nice unit and worth the price at least for me. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 28 Feb 2020 11:08 AM PST ATV4K, Marantz NR 1607, Vizio E70-E3. I cannot get HDR to work when I run my signal from the ATV through the Marantz, but I can do HDR when I cable directly from the ATV to the display. Have found a support document from Marantz that describes this issue, but the fixes don't work. If I cable ATV -> HDMI -> Vizio -> optical -> Marantz, what would I be giving up sound wise? Audio is very important to me, my current 5.1 setup sounds amazing. Meanwhile, I'll continue testing every HDMI cable I own to see if I can get HDR working through the Marantz. [link] [comments]  |
| Ad Blocking for YouTube possible? Posted: 28 Feb 2020 10:32 PM PST I'm already using pi-hole on my network with relatively good results on block Ads, but video Ads on YouTube are not blocked. Then, I found "ublock origin" a nice browser plugin which magically blocks YouTube video ads. Is there are way to block ads on apple tv? [link] [comments]  |

When we try to play it in English, there's no sound. In Spanish, it plays flawlessly. Other non-Star Wars shows, plays perfectly fine in English.
