| Sony SA-Z9R rear speakers problems when playing a movie on the iTunes movie app Posted: 08 Feb 2020 04:02 AM PST So I bought the Sony sa-z9r rear speakers about a month ago to complete my soundbar setup with the ht-z9f I love the rear speakers they're awesome but there is an odd problem that happens when I play a movie from the movies app on the Apple TV 4K the movie starts with the rear speakers not working they are silent but the spin at itself is working fine and when I fast forward or rewind they work but if I fast forward or rewind again they stop working until I fast forward or rewind again This problem only occurs when I use the iTunes movies app it doesn't happen when I play something on Netflix or Hulu or anything Does anybody know how I can stop this ? | Do I have a faulty AppleTV 4K? Posted: 07 Feb 2020 07:51 PM PST Some issues I've had which I'm not sure are native to this device or are signs I got a defective one: •The picture blacks out when I adjust the volume using my tv's remote control •The device seems to turn itself on randomly. I'll put it to sleep then go to bed and wake up to find it is turned on. I have the device plugged into a non-4K av receiver which is plugged into my tv via hdmi. Anyone else had these issue? I downloaded the Apple TV remote and it works okay, except I can't go back! What in tarnation?! The only way to go back is to go all the way back to the start screen with all programs. I am thinking about getting Apple TV APP for THE MORNING SHOW. What else will I enjoy on it? Are there any special deals (or trials) via my ROKU player? Here are some of my favorite shows on channels and apps etc to give you an idea of my taste: The West Wing, The Newsroom (hence the morning show), Mad men, breaking bad, better call Saul, the Americans, homeland, The KOMINSKY Method, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder, Jack Ryan, The Bodyguard, The Spy etc. No superhero/heavy sci-fi/fantasy please. | Apple 4K TV performance on entry level 4K TVS Posted: 07 Feb 2020 10:05 PM PST I'm debating whether I should upgrade to the apple 4K TV or not, from my Fire TV 4k. I read that the audio and visual performance is better on ATV4K but is there a noticeable difference for an entry level 4K TV? I have a 55" Samsung 6 series. Other reasons I'm considering an ATV4K is because I'm already deep in the Apple ecosystem and airplay2 would be nice, although I'm scared of latency lags while watching shows/movies. | How can I get age appropriate movies from my library to show up in my child’s Appletv app? Posted: 07 Feb 2020 10:02 AM PST Family sharing is all set up ok, but the appletv app on my sons iPad shows none of the movies I own. The library tab was a blank screen so I bought a cheap film for him and now that shows up along with the library sidebar which was missing before but none of the films I own. He can use the search function for a film by name and if I own it he can play it from the films store page (if within the screen times age restrictions I set) He can also access the full list of what I own from the iTunes apps purchased tab but I'd rather he just used the appletv apps library function [link] [comments]  |
| Unable to play purchased or rented movies on Apple TV App Posted: 07 Feb 2020 06:16 AM PST Using on an iPhone XR. Never game me problems till yesterday after renting scary stories to tell in the dark when the movie wouldn't play. Since then I'm unable to play titles I already own, it just says unable to download on a cellular network even though I'm not trying to download the titles just play/stream them. I have cellular data turned on, my video quality at standard and I have sufficient signal to stream where I love but do not have WiFi. Curious as to why this problem occurred and any known fixes. Have tried signing out and back in, redownloaded the app..etc. Thank you for the time! [link] [comments]  |
