    Is there a way to import the edited version of a video (I resized a screen recording to 16:9 in the photos app) into iMovie? Every time I import a video it shows me the original unedited version.

    Help with lost iTunes password [question]

    Hello everyone

    I'm trying to help my friend retrieve his files from iTunes after his phone got stolen. He's not native in English so he's having a real hard time explaining and I don't have an iPhone so...

    Anyway he told me he has an important file backed up on his pc through the iTunes account but he forgot his password and his phone recently got stolen.

    Is it possible to retrieve this file and how can he change the password? He's telling me it's impossible without his phone which was stolen but that sounds absurd to me.

    Disconnecting WiFi until tomorrow - keeps turning back on at random times and locations - how to fix?

    Hi all -

    On the widgets drop down, when I click Bluetooth off - it goes from blue to grey and stays that way for 24 hours.

    But when I do the same for WiFi - it turns on/back to blue randomly, and quite often - despite saying its off until tomorrow.

    Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Many bugs on the IPhone 11

    Hello, I use since yesterday a new IPhone 11 and have the problem that sometimes I can't lock the device but the „Shut-down" menu appears when I hold the button. Also when I want to increase the volume with the volume button nothing happens but I can use the button to decrease the volume. When I leave the silent mode with the switch I can use booth volume button.

    Someone else with the same problem?

    [question] google app not loading adress in maps

    since ios 13 came out, if i click on an address that i looked up on google, it will open apple maps but won't load the address. before that it would load the address and you could just click go. both my iphone and ipad mini are this way. i've tried switching the default map system to google maps and waze and it doesn't work with any of them. is this something everyone is experiencing and is there a way to fix it ?

    Weather Widget Doesn't Match Weather App

    I feel like this has been the case for years of iOS updates -- but it is secretly driving me crazy. Anyone else notice that often times the weather widget will NOT match the weather app (in terms of temp/high/low)? Any way to force fix this?

    Find My Friends Notification?

    Recently a message popped up saying "BLANK will be notified the next time you leave BLANK." How do I get rid of this for the other person without ridding them from find my friends? It's my mom, but I'm at college and I'm always in and out of my apartment, but I cant completely remove her from the app.

    App Store Country changed from my Cluntry

    I live in Canada and my App Store region changed to US when I clicked the Nike SNKRS app link while browsing the US Nike site. My Country/Region is set as Canada and I can't change it because I'm on a family plan. Just need to know how to get my App Store back to the Canadian one, I'm not looking to download the App

    Software recommend for a beginner? iPad IOS/Linux user

    Hey Guys, I want to start with YouTube and I've some ideas in my mind. But I'm in a little bit trouble now, I'm not sure which software I should use to transfer my ideas into videos. How I already in the title mentioned, I've a Linux desktop PC which I use on the weekend and an iPad Pro which I use from Monday till Friday in the barracks. Has somebody any software recommends for me? I need something for cutting, adding subtitles, creating an intro and outro and adding little effects and a little bit picture editing and maybe a bit of animating nothing hardline stuff like creating a own movie though. Some advices for file management and file transfer would be also nice. Is such a program setup even possible for Linux and iOS? It isn't necessary for me to use the same programs on both devices I just need a workflow for both devices and that I can work on my stuff in the middle of the week and on the weekend.

    I am really a newbie so I would be glad if you could give me some advice.

    I can't hear the caller and I can't turn on the speaker? The caller can't hear me either?

    Frantic, schizophrenic app re-arranging. Am I the only person who even after 10 years of use, just cannot get the hang of re-arranging apps on my iPhone and iPad? I think it is the most frustrating task and honestly I usually just avoid doing it.

    I mean android phones that cost a fraction of an Apple device have a completely intuitive way to move apps with a grid.

    Everything about re-arranging apps on an Apple device is completely frantic and schizophrenic right down to the shaking, working under the clock, accidentally making folders from one app sitting on top another for too long. It's like a puzzle if I want to move one app in place of where another one sits I have to almost work it out mathematically first of how to get it there.

    I can't be the only one.......can I?

    11Pro LPT: If you shoot video without “camera lock”, use the shortcut from photo mode. The lens transitions aren’t nearly as jarring. BONUS: You get up to 10x zoom instead of 6x limit from video mode!

    I found that if I start a video from the long-press from photo mode, the lens transitions from UWide-Wide-Tele are WAY smoother than when you start a video from video mode.

    Truth be told, I noticed the 10x zoom bonus first, but figured the lens transition was a bigger deal for most people.

    The only downside I've noticed from this, is the aspect ratio is different by default.
