    My “Clear History and Website Data” button has been greyed our for a while now. I’ve tried everything to fix it. I even Factory resetted my iPhone. Do any of you have any tricks up your sleeve to fix this?

    This sounds like a dumb question assuming it has settings for it but mine has never worked and I've had it for months despite messing with the settings. There's no "F" keys so I can't adjust it that way and the touchbar works just fine. Really sucks if I have a defective keyboard.

    Is there any way of rearranging titles in the TV app? It’s a small thing but kinda annoying that Alien 3 shows up before Alien, Star Wars films are all over the place etc. (iPhone 11 Pro Max, 13.3.1)

    New AirPod Pros battery issue within first hour of pairing

    I just bought new AirPod Pros today and I've come across a big issue within the first hour after pairing

    The battery status that shows up on my phone. In this clip I open the case, then take the right AirPod out, then the left out, then put them back in.

    If this is a common issue or there is something that needs to be done to fix this, please let me know!

    iphone7 has started losing 4G/LTE connection every few seconds

    So my iPhone 7 (ios 13.3.1) is acting up the past couple of weeks where the LTE symbol disappears (but the signal bar remains, albeit it usually goes down to 1 bar) for about 5-10 seconds then it comes back to normal full signal + LTE symbol but only briefly before it drops again. During that time when LTE is showing, I can use data and voice as normal, but within 10-30 seconds it goes away again and my apps complain about no data connection and calls will drop. It does this repeatedly, even when I'm not even using the screen just sitting at the home screen. Using data via Wifi is fine. I've tried resetting network settings and even did all settings (minus data) as a desperate move, there was no improvement. I've powered it off multiple times, removed the sim and put it back in (Cricket). No idea what to try next short of bringing it to an Apple store.

    "Edit Passes" option in Wallet disappeared when having zero or one pass / gift card

    I am using iOS 13.3.1 on and iPhone X

    I was trying to add an apple store (retail) gift card to my apple wallet. I had the "+" option in the top right that is for adding credit cards, but could not find the "edit passes" option at the bottom of wallet to add the gift card.

    I decided to remove all passes / gift cards and the "edit passes" option was still missing.

    I then tried to add two gift cards (using the option within each app to "add to wallet") and the "edit passes" option is back!

    It appears that the "edit passes" option disappears when there are ZERO or ONE passes/gift cards. If you are stuck with 0 or 1 passes and the "edit" option is missing try figuring out which apps let you "add to passbook" from their app. I used Southwest and Starbucks.

    Hopefully Apple addresses this in an update soon. Took me way longer than I would like to admit to figure this one out. I am sure this doesn't come up for most people but seems like an easy fix.

    Below in an image where the "edit passes" should appear when you have two or more gift cards/passes.

    Using iPhone Text to Speech Feature to Read Texts but the Language and Accent Doesn't Come out Right

    Hey, guys. My first time posting here. I want to use my iPhone 7 Plus (running iOS 13.3) to read English articles to me so I may not have to actually read and get my eyes some rest. (lol)

    However, I found the pronunciation weird. Is it because the default language of my phone is Chinese? I thought the corresponding language would be applied but it apparently does not.

    As I mentioned, the language of my phone is Chinese and the English text sounded weird and even numbers were pronounced in Chinese. Would it be possible that I keep the language Chinese but still manage to get the TTS feature with the right language and accent?

    PC won't recognize iPod nano

    I have an issue with my iPod nano (7G), I haven't used it in quite a while but it was perfectly fine the last time. Thing is, when I try to connect it to my PC it says something along the lines of 'an iPod has been detected but it could not be identified correctly'. I did some digging and there are solutions for this but none work. Some say to reset Apple mobile device from Services but this won't even appear in my computer. It also says 'controler error' in the Control Panel. Dunno what else to do, any help is appreciated.

    I can’t FaceTime my child’s account?

    Hi guys, I added my daughter to my family account, gave her an Apple ID on the iPad so she can FaceTime her school friend and me and my wife can call her. But for some reason she can't FaceTime me and I can't FaceTime her using the Apple ID? My wife can call us both separately so I'm guessing it's something to do with the fact that my daughters account is linked to mine? I've gone through all the settings and I can't quite find a fix. I've now signed my account off completely from the iPad, and only signed my daughter in alone but for the both of us the call buttons are greyed out when our Apple ID is entered in factetime. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Apps randomly open when I go to sites on chrome?

    So whenever I press command L (to highlight the url line on chrome) it now makes a sound (don't know if this is relevant). But then if I go to a website by pressing r and then enter for example (to go to reddit), it will open up the reminders app. If I press f and enter (to go to facebook), it will open up facetime. Also when I press command W to close a tab it will also make a sound, though it will close the tab as intended. Help!

    Edit: so I restarted my laptop and it's fine now... wonder what it was

    Dynamic wallpaper timing with Mac OS Catalina

    Hey folks — wondering if anybody knows exactly what the start point is between each series of wallpaper transitions? I know it's a gradual transition from one image to the next, but I can't tell at what exact time during the day each of the 16 different photos initiates it's transition, which is what I need to figure out which set of altitude/azimuth data I'll need to use for the wallpaper I'm digitally designing. I'm basing that data on this link, using mczachurski's command line tool, for those of you interested in my process. Anybody know what those points are? Or how I'd extract the .json file from the default .heic wallpapers that come with Mac OS?

    Safari redirects to spam "afew.zoyufo.pw" on both Mac and iPad

    This evening I found nytimes.com and cnn.com are both redirecting me to phishing sites "poinptzerosss.eu" and "afew.zoyufo.pw" This is happening on Safari on both my Mac and iPad (both connected to the same home wifi network). Malwarebytes turns up nothing, and I finally blocked the domains on the router, but I still see it trying to redirect in Safari's status bar. I also cleared history and website data, and am not running any extensions or plugins.

    Same problem is reported here on Macrumors, but no solution.

    Anyone know how to get rid of this? And how they even do it in the first place?

    No waterproof speaker with AirPlay support?

    I'm in the market for a shower speaker with AirPlay support to replace my old Bluetooth shower speaker, but I can't find any. This is start contrast to waterproof speakers available with support for chromecast or Alexa, although there isn't a lot of them.

    Isn't AirPlay a feature convenient for Apple users? If so, I wonder why manufacturers are not on board. I think AirPlay is so much more convenient than bluetooth, because you don't have to go through the extra step of pairing and you're not limited by the number of pairings one speaker have.

    What causes this during boot? (Late 2011 MacBook Pro)

    I've been battling a late-2011 MacBook Pro that started to give me issues crashing.

    It started a few months ago when my machine (running El Capitan, I believe) went black while watching a YouTube video on Chrome. It then would continuously issue panic reports and crash sporadically ever since. Then, I thought I solved the problem by upgrading to Sierra. The crashes got better, then much much worse. It got to the point where I couldn't even boot to a stable desktop for more than a couple minutes.

    Next I tried cloning the drive, thinking the hard drive was failing. Except that gave the same results, or would only boot 1 out of 50 restarts.

    So, after failed attempts of recovery (which would only boot to a blank grey screen) I decided to start fresh — I wiped the hard drive thinking I could use Internet Recovery. Oops. No dice.

    Now I'm down to resorting to recover from a USB copy of OS 10.8 (Mountain Lion) after I appear to have lost my recovery disc, when I get this screen. Any ideas?

    Edit: I should also point out the research I did suggests a failing GPU but I thought that was odd given it didn't mention it when I ran a diagnostic test.

    So I have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ Android phone up for upgrade. I'm choosing to switch to iOS, although the Samsung Galaxy S20 is tempting.

    Should I get the iPhone 11, or wait several months for the 12 to come out?
