I'm now dangerously close to ramming not meeting the Mobile Data for the month (which has just begun) and things will get really bad if this happens again. Is there any way to find out you've lost your WiFi and are liberally using up your Mobile Data unbeknownst to yourself? Any way to prevent it? [link] [comments]  |
| Weather widget shows different location. Posted: 03 Jan 2020 11:31 PM PST It keeps showing Republic of Congo instead of where I live. If i click on that or open the app, it shows the correct city. This happens only if I use auto-location, it does not happen if I manually put a city. [link] [comments]  |
| How to Turn off low light option for photos Posted: 03 Jan 2020 05:32 PM PST I have an iphone 11 and the low light feature is so annoying. I literally never want to use the low light feature because they take forever and come out blurry. I'm not trying to take amazing photos I just want to use my flash in dark light and nothing else. But i have to manually turn off low light on the camera screen each and every time i take a picture in low light. And in between each picture I have to turn it off again. Its annoying. Is there any way to turn it off completely in settings? Or at least make it stop being the default? [link] [comments]  |

| Audio messages won’t show up!! Posted: 03 Jan 2020 06:24 PM PST I need help and I feel like I'm stupid for not being able to figure this out. My daughter has an iPad air 2. She is 3 and likes to send voice messages to me and my family. Every once in a while she sends some really cute ones that I want on my phone. Tonight I just tried to send an audio message to myself she sent to my sister. I hold down on the audio file, click more, click the forward arrow, put my number in the to box and then hit send. When I do that, it sends nothing! And it gives me a notification on my phone saying I have a message but there's nothing there! I'm really annoyed and trying desperately to figure out how to get this to come through! Can someone please help me not feel like such an idiot?? | Where to buy a new iphone 11 (lost phone) Posted: 03 Jan 2020 11:04 AM PST So I stupidly lost my brand new iphone 11 max that I am still paying off. It is a ton of money but I really do need a new one. I expect to pay full sticker price on a new one or pay off my old one through verizon to get a new deal. I am not an expert on how these cellphone providers work so I am curious what my options are. Can I pay off the phone I currently lost and activate a new "2 yr plan" and get discounts from places such as Best Buy/Verizon? What are my best options here. | Posted: 03 Jan 2020 01:52 PM PST Instead of listing my voicemails so I can just hit the specific ones to listen to, I have to call and wait through soooo much talking. It feels like 2009 again. I haven't gotten any voicemail notifications for a while either. I called it after I missed a call from my doctor and found out I had 50 voicemails going back as far as mid October that I didn't know about. The calendar is just a bunch of spam events each of which I can not individually delete. I have hidden the calendar events so I don't see them however I would like to delete the calendar altogether. | Cannot Delete Spammy Calendar Appointments Posted: 03 Jan 2020 04:56 AM PST A bunch of purple events appeared on my calendar that Siri identifies as appointments, but I cannot delete them. I got a popup while browsing online and accidentally clicked a subscribe button on it where it would normally have said close, and then all these appointments appeared on my calendar. Siri cannot delete them, and there is no edit option when looking at the appointments themselves to delete them manually. Any help here? Tried to attach a picture, can't seem to figure out how. | Posted: 03 Jan 2020 03:54 AM PST Hey guys So basically the microphone quality when I use any application that ISN'T the default video camera, the audio quality is just terrible. Even if it's the default voice recorder, Snapchat, Phone calls etc., the quality is barely hearable, but for some reason it's perfectly fine when I film a video with the default camera. When it synced with windows 10 it had 600 of the photos, the other photos show as photos 'from my mac' for some folders. I dont have that mac anymore. I downloaded itunes and it showed my account there (used my new apple id for this). I downloaded icloud to log into apple id and i tried the apple website. But it says it is not an apple ID... | Deleted files in iTunes backup Posted: 03 Jan 2020 02:15 AM PST Hi, I still have old app data (pictures from an app, sqlite database) in my recent iTunes backup that has been deleted from my phone a while ago. The files are hidden using a File explorer for iTunes Backup and they are neither visible in the manifest.db, but using dr.fone or Autopsy I can see the the app data in the backup. Any explanations ? | Posted: 03 Jan 2020 01:08 AM PST When I try to send an email from my iCloud email address (iCloud.com) I get this alert saying unable to encrypt "You cant send signed or encrypted messages because identities for the address '—————-@icloud{dot}com' could not be found. Go to the advanced settings for this account to choose signing and encryption identities" However when I went to the account settings it takes you to my general iCloud settings page and I can't find any advanced settings.
