iPhone SE GPS awful at real-time tracking. Posted: 06 Jan 2020 09:50 PM PST Recently, I noticed that when I use any GPS app (e.g., Google Maps, Apple Maps) the app has serious trouble tracking my real-time location. I've tried using Wi-Fi during GPS use, reinstalling the GPS apps, restarting my phone, resetting my location services, and freeing up at least 10GB of space on my phone. Nothing fixed it. Could it be a bug with the latest iOS? Could it be a hardware problem? I did have my phone screen changed recently and the repair place messed up the ground connector from the vibrate to the MOBO, also people seem to have trouble hearing me during phone calls. Slow animation when sliding down to search for an app Posted: 06 Jan 2020 09:39 PM PST As shown in the link below, when ever I slide down to search for an app the animation is slow and the texts are not properly aligned and the colour of the texts is grayed out. How can I fix this? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1un7bAIT20m1SVKfnrqIGKSI7gYYi_Z0M/view?usp=drivesdk [link] [comments] |

I can’t edit or create a new contact Posted: 06 Jan 2020 08:20 PM PST An old friend messaged me off a new number. But after they said what they needed to say I tried creating a new contact for the number and it just shows this. https://imgur.com/gallery/0i9eUcf any ideas on why this is? [link] [comments] |

IPhone11 Echo during FaceTime and messenger calls Posted: 06 Jan 2020 05:14 PM PST Has anyone experienced any echo during FaceTime or messenger calls? I get a very bad echo/static sound during messenger or FaceTime. It happens on WiFi and LTE. The person on the other end does not hear it, but it is loud and annoying for me. I had the phone swapped for a replacement by the carrier and the new one does it as well. Any help is appreciated. [link] [comments] |
iPhone charging port sticky (inside) from adhesive residue of orange juice that i spilled. Posted: 06 Jan 2020 04:22 PM PST iPhoneXR if it matters. I spilled orange juice hours ago on my phone, and when i tried plugging it in the first time to charge, it notified me that the port was wet, so i let it sit for some hours. I do not get that notification now. What happens now is when i plug my phone in, the device buzzes as if it's charging, and the lightning symbol appears over the battery at the top right corner the screen, but it is not charging. When i unplug it, i feel a resistance as a result of the adhesive layer (from the juice). How do I remove the sticky residue of the juice? Do i just let my phone sit over night...? My iphone is not wet anymore i think, so it doesn't need to dry it's just sticku [link] [comments] |

Do wireless headphones have priority over wired ones? Posted: 06 Jan 2020 12:04 PM PST Hello! I have an SE (iOS 12.1.1) that thinks it has headphones plugged in when it doesn't. I can't hear anything from the speakers because of this. I'm trying a bunch of different things to see if I can fix it (I'm following this guide, this guide and, honestly, whatever I find on Google), but in the meantime I wondered if I could just get some cheap Bluetooth headphones and use that until I fix it. Basically I was wondering if anyone tried using wired and wireless headphones simultaneously and whether the wireless ones worked. I also appreciate any tips to actually fix the problem (in case it helps, the reason this happens might be because of water damage from having my phone out in the rain.) Thanks for your time! EDIT: Well apparently it just... fixed itself. I left it alone for a bit and when I came back it worked fine. Still leaving this up on the off-chance that it helps someone else. [link] [comments] |
Iphone 4 indicates that the charger is in but it doesn't seem like it is charging Posted: 06 Jan 2020 09:10 AM PST I have a dead iphone 4, when I plugged it in it did turn on to the no battery screen, it does indicate that the charger is inserted but doesn't give and signs of actually charging. Just replaced my battery but now the left hand side of my screen is popping up. Posted: 06 Jan 2020 01:30 AM PST About a month ago I went to an iPhone repair shop to get a new battery after my old one started dying. Once I got the new battery everything seemed fine but now the left hand side of my screen is slowly popping up. I don't think it's the battery because I just got it replaced (it's also not an old battery as I ordered a new one) so I don't know what the problem would be. I haven't dropped it or stored it anywhere to cause the problem as well. [link] [comments] |
