Desperately hoping the Ultra Wideband tile competitor won’t be iPhone 11 exclusive Posted: 30 Jan 2020 05:59 PM PST I have an iPhone XR, and I would love to make use of the rumoured AirTags or Apple Tags or whatever they may be called, so I'm really hoping that they're compatible with phones that don't have the new U1 chip in the iPhone 11 & iPhone 11 Pro. Has Anyone done an instalment plan for the iphone in the USA? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 05:56 PM PST I want to get the new iPhone and I heard that that you could do installment plans through apple. I'm just wondering how it works. do I need a credit card do I just need a bank account, can I be on a prepaid plan with my carrier? how much do I pay upfront? I currently don't have a credit card but I heard that you don't need one but I'm not exactly sure. [link] [comments]

Have these iOS issues been fixed in the last year? Android user Posted: 30 Jan 2020 03:19 PM PST I am an Android user who may switch but most of these issues located below are similar things I would miss or would hate. https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/a10xwj/as_a_new_iphone_user_heres_an_extensive_list_of/ The post is a year old so I thought maybe there may be an app or updated iOS that fixed these issues or upcoming. New iPhone 11 user and camera woes (coming from a Pixel) Posted: 30 Jan 2020 04:45 PM PST I have been a Nexus and Pixel user for many years. From a Pixel 1, 2 and 3. I mainly moved to iPhone to match the ecosystem of my kids and wanted better video without sacrificing the quality of photos I get from my Pixel. I have to say that I was not disappointed with the video as many reviews pointed out the iPhone 11 kills it in the video realm. What I am surprised about is the quality of the photos. I would say from a full auto point and shoot perspective the Pixel 3 and Pixel 2 even dominates over this phone. I then went back to my Pixel 1 and found they are better matched. Now before I get flamed here, I will elaborate. In perfect very well lit scenes it is on par with all the pixels. I would even say the portrait mode is better overall. The problem comes when the light levels drop and/or I have my kids running around and want to capture the moment. I cannot for the life of me figure out why I get either a grainy photo or a blurred kid and a very sad dad for missing capturing a moment I want to remember. I am a novice photographer in the sense I own a DSL and understand the basics or shutter speed, aperture, ISOs etc. I think I know the why of the blurred photos but expected the shutter speed a lot quicker in an average lit room or a shot from a moving car (10-20km/h) during a bright day and produce a crisp photo. I would hate to have to carry my Pixel 3 and my iPhone to switch devices depending on whether I am capturing a photo or video. (I have tried the volume up and down and restart, or something like that, also I have tried a factory reset) Help. Is it me? A problem with my devices? Or my expectations? 🥺 GewGaw4U [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 03:08 PM PST The new Apple maps still suck. Was in Bakersfield today and still same crap maps. Pretty pathetic. And they keep throwing cash at this lost cause. LOL... [link] [comments] |
