    Unpopular opinion on r/iphone, Jailbreaking is amazing

    Every time I mention jailbreaking here I get downvoted, I don't understand this sheep mentality like Apple made it like this so this is how it has to be and I dislike the ability to customize beyond what Apple thinks you should so have a downvote.

    It liberates your iOS device, I can access my control centre without using two hands, play youtube in the background, customize icons, downgrade apps, see battery percentage instead of the stupid battery icon, view detailed battery stats like cycle count and health in mAh, have a system wide EQ and much, much more.

    My iPhone is stable, dependable and battery life is as good as stock. It doesn't really void your warranty as you can restore back to stock and no trace of jailbreak is left. If you can't restore before taking it in you may be in trouble, but I hear many places don't even check for it because jailbreaking is rather obscure nowadays

    Can anyone explain to me the EQ in settings for the music app? I switch it between all the different presets and it sounds EXACTLY the same no matter what.

    Can I just pop my Verizon SIM card into the iPhone 11 pro max?

    Can anyone recommend a “premium” case for iPhone 11 Pro Max?

    After spending so much money on my phone, it feels wrong to slap a rubber or plastic case on it (I usually go caseless). Does anyone know any good cases that are made of materials like carbon fiber or metal?

    I currently have some static on the front speaker, but my bottom one, that used to have static, became fine after I dried it (put it in a towel overnight). What should I do about the front speaker?

    iPhone SE and updates... installing anything higher than 10.3.3 make it useless

    I currently have SE and 10.3.3 and I have resisted updating to anything higher for fear that my iphone will become unusable because I can't afford a new phone. Now my banking app wont work, it wants me to update. I can't deposit checks with out it and rent is due.

    I don't want to update my phone only to find it slow as shit and unuseable... basically making one problem into two. This already happened with TWO ipads.

    Can I install the latest system software and still have a usable phone?
