    DS4 Controller suggestions

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 07:19 AM PST

Got DS4 for Christmas and now striving to get the most out of it. I've tried San Andreas and Vice City, but these games were so overplayed long time ago that I can't really get into them. I'm looking for some console experience. For the moment Thumper is the best one I have. I never get tired of admiring developers of Thumper. But I suck at this game so hard that I can't get past level 5. I'm one of a few who I don't know why couldn't really get into Stardew Valley, so this game I just tried, controller works, quit. Alto while working good with controller doesn't really need it to be good. Maybe you can suggest any games with good controller integration. Racing (tried F1 and didn't like it and please no Asphalt), fighting, shooters, rpgs, platformers. Anything is appreciated. Thank you

Anyone have good recommendation on city building/war iOS game?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 09:25 AM PST

Hi I'm new to iOS gaming, never played any iOS games. I'm looking for a city building/go to war kind of game that is both competitive, but also reasonably fair and balanced (not pay to win). Dose a game like that exists?

I wanna start putting time in a mobile game but scared to pick the wrong one. What is the best game to start spending time (and maybe money) without the game getting worse or completely discarded over time?

    Posted: 31 Dec 2019 05:58 PM PST

I know most people post this same question on this sub but I really want to make sure I pick the right game.

For some reason I get really bored of mobile games.

I recently started nba 2k and after the first two days it got stale and boring and it seemed like the best way to get good into the game was just to put money in it.

So, please, reddit, help me and others out there and tell me what is the best and most fun time consuming mobile game that is out there.

iPad Air (2019) vs iPad Pro for gaming

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 08:03 AM PST

Sick of toting a laptop around for gaming while traveling. A one device media consumer and light gaming machine would be nice and ideal. Looking at these 2, both 256GB to store a decent library of games, books and movies. I would be playing Fortnite, nba 2k, gta series...etc. I feel as if the iPad Pro would be overkill but the screen is very tempting. Any suggestions?

Also has anyone used an lightning/usb-c to HDMI adapter for gaming? Too much lag to be feasible?

TIA! (Wish they would hurry up and port apex and rocket league 😡)

    RPG/strategy suggestions

    Posted: 31 Dec 2019 11:07 AM PST

So, this is a dual post. First, let me vent my frustration that iOS game store has a full load of games when you chose the genres that are neither rpg nor strategy. They are all gacha. Sickening.

At any rate, I'll post my favs. Ff tactics is naturally a classic. Other than that, rpg/tactics wise I find warhammer quest to be a good party rpg as well as demons rise one and two. Strategy wise my favorite is planar conquest hands down. Basically age of wonders or mom for iOS. Other than that, wesnoth is ok, and Hexonia and heroes of Flatlandia are middling fair too. Oh! Rpg wise, mysterious castle is pretty cool too, just low info and no real end game.

Other than these, are there any really good rpg/tactical/strategy games I should look at? Really just interested in full, non gacha games here.

    Thanks all!

Games Similar to Wizards and Wagons?

I absolutely love the game, but once you unlock all the lands there's nothing else to do.

Having a hard time finding a game I like.

    Posted: 31 Dec 2019 11:54 AM PST

The games I most played are probably Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, Archero and Crush Them All. I try multiple games from recommendations here but find it hard to get into.
Are they're any games like the ones I listed that you guys would suggest me trying? Paid or free are both okay.
