    [Release] Insono13 1.0~preview1: displays a notification banner when now playing media changes, now for iOS 13

    I've released an update to Insono (titled Insono13 for now) on my repo at https://rovert.me/apt.

    What is Insono? (for the uninitiated)

    Insono is a tweak that automatically displays a notification banner when the now playing song changes.

    Changelog for 1.0~preview1 (What's different between Insono and Insono13?)

    1. Initial beta release for iOS 13 only
    2. Swapped out libbulletin in favor of libnotifications by CokePokes (you may notice some stability improvements due to this)
    3. Due to the aforementioned change from libbulletin to libnotifications, album artwork is temporarily unavailable (I'll contact CokePokes in the near future to see if he'd be interested in adding attachment support)
    4. Insono's preference bundle has been removed and the tweak will only have basic functionality on iOS 13 (This is temporary and definitely not how the final product will be; this is a preview after all)

    SafeShutdown from KurrtDev has been updated for iOS 13 support!

    This Tweak safes your (tethered-) jailbreak at low power.

    It costs 1.99$ and is available at KurrtDev's repo.
    Here is the twitter announcement.

    "SafeShutdown aims to help you avoid having to re-jailbreak after your device runs out of battery.
    It does so by initiating a "fake shutdown" when your battery gets to the set percentage.
    When the device is plugged in and charges to the set restart percentage it undoes all changes and resprings, allowing it to wake up.

    The device will be completely unusable while enabled, in the case that you want to override SafeShutdown and use the remaining battery, there is the option to enable the emergency wake up feature in settings.

    What happens when the "fake shutdown" enables? The screen is turned off and disabled, low power mode enabled, all buttons and touches are ignored, raise to wake, notifications, alarms and timers are blocked, torch is turned off, screen recording is stopped and saved, all apps are quit but not removed from the app switcher, all sounds and vibrations are disabled and more."

    [Tutorial] How to install Ubuntu on a USB Drive and use Ra1nstorm

    This is useful if you have internal drives installed already and they're already taking space, or if you want to use this as a makeshift portable way to use checkra1n!

    Pre-requisites:

    Step 1: In Windows, use Rufus to install your Ubuntu image onto your smaller flash drive.

    Step 2: Reboot the system, making sure to boot into Ubuntu (most motherboards use F12 for this)

    Step 3: Once in the live installation, go into your applications and open GParted (the Linux version of Windows' Disk Manager)

    Step 4: Make sure to select your larger flash drive and format it in FAT32 (if it hasn't been already).

    Step 5: Shrink the FAT32 partition to ~200 MiB (mine was 2000 MiB since mine was 128GB). This will be your EFI partition, and Linux will not boot without it. https://i.imgur.com/D0A7ZcI.jpg

    Step 6: Right click the EFI partition and go to "Set Flags". Set the "boot" flag. https://i.imgur.com/Ej2CVMj.jpg

    Step 7: Start the installation and go through until you reach the point that asks if you want to wipe the disk and install Ubuntu. Go down and select "Something else".

    Step 8: On the "Something else" page, navigate to the EFI partition. Double click it and choose EFI from the drop down menu.

    Step 9: Select the unused partition (the one you want to put Ubuntu on) and double click it. This time, select ex4 from the drop down menu and set the mount point to '/'.

    Step 10: Select the ex4 partition and select Install! Ubuntu should now install on your flash drive!

    After you have rebooted following the install:

    Step 1: Download setup.run from the Github. Open the file location (/home/Downloads).

    Step 2: Open the Terminal and type bash '/home/downloads/ra1nstorm.run'. Ra1nstorm should start and just follow the on-screen instructions!

    Note that the MacOS KVM will take a while to install (About 4 hours for me), so make sure you have plenty of time (and I also recommend doing this on a desktop so you don't have to worry about power :) )

    [Discussion] For those of you that use “Temporary Background Spawn” tweak

    Does this tweak help your device? Have you noticed battery loss from this tweak or maybe even slight battery gain? And have you had ANY problems with this tweak? I have literally 5 tweaks on my phone but this seems like it could help with phone memory a bunch because when I look at cocoatop I see apps still taking up memory that I haven't used or opened in hours . Thanks in advance for all comments

    [Question] Is there a tweak that will confirm a call in the phone app before actually calling?

    The other day I was walking with some coworkers after lunch and accidentally called my boss in my pocket. The call lasted 0:28 seconds and I had mentioned "I hope we get bought out" in regards to the company lmao

    Is there a tweak that will make you confirm to call someone in the recents tab instead of it instantly calling?

I received a lot of good feedback on "Zoom for YouTube" since the official public release (it's available on BigBoss for those who don't have it yet), and after a lot of trial and error (more than 300 different versions in the past week, to be exact) - I am happy to announce a few upgrades to this one that will hopefully come soon. The changes as of right now: * New name :) feel free to suggest names! * Added support for Netflix application. * Added support for safari/stock player.

    [Request] Update Mobius for iOS 13

    Mobius is a tweak that allows you to infinitely scroll on the iOS Home screen and while within folders, it was optimized for iOS 7 but got updated to about iOS 9. I would love to see a tweak like this makes its way to the newer versions

    [Question] Anemone stopped working for me after latest Tweak Injector & RocketBootstrap update!

    As the title says, after upgrading both and rebooting Anemone would not work properly and displays

    " There was an error contacting Springboard. Please reinstall Anemone and / or Springboard. "

    Is there any known fixes or should I downgrade Tweak Injector & RocketBootstrap?
