| Posted: 26 Dec 2019 06:43 PM PST Long story short, I recently updated my iPhone 6s+ from iOS 9.3 to iOS 13 & I'm having battery problems. Ever since I updated my phone, my phones battery won't even last 6 hours. When it was on iOS 9.3 the battery life was amazing, it could last 2 full days, then all of a sudden my battery drains at a dramatic rate??? Does anyone know why this is? | Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:11 PM PST I don't know why, but my 7's camera is not really focusing... Especially for landscape pictures, my camera is just blurry and doesn't focus where I need it to. Like it shows it's trying to focus there, but it always just turns out blurry. And I think as a result (maybe it's completely unrelated i don't really know) half my pictures are overexposed. | Confusion Over Transferring Photos to PC Posted: 26 Dec 2019 03:09 PM PST Hi, all! I've only been an iPhone user for about 2-3 months now, and I'm having trouble bringing my photos onto my PC. With my Android, I would just connect to my PC via USB, open the files, and manually drag them to my desired location. I've tried that with the iPhone, but get error messages after several photos are transferred, or the process just stops entirely with no explanation. Some of the photos and videos that do get transferred appear as files my computer cannot read, and so are apparently useless. I opted not to use iCloud initially, and thought maybe I would just upload them now and download them from there. Well, it says my iCloud storage is full, but there aren't any pictures stored there. Do things like contacts take up a lot of space? What exactly is being stored in my cloud? If I clear everything from the cloud, will anything be irretrievably lost? I only have the default 5 GB and ideally will not be paying for additional storage space. To put it simply, both my phone and cloud are low on space, and the methods I would use for transferring files no longer seem to be viable. The easiest alternatives now seem unavailable as well. I have no idea what I'm doing, and don't want to complicate things further. What about iTunes? I have it on my computer, but haven't yet updated it to its newest iteration. | Turn off Share-wifi password notifications Posted: 26 Dec 2019 12:36 PM PST Hi, ever since I've gotten back from college, my whole family has been getting notifications asking to share the Wifi password with my computer. The thing is, I've never actually asked, as my computer is always connected. Now, it's been sending the same notifications to my phone... and I'm not even home, so neither my phone nor my phone is connected to or in range of the wifi network that I'm supposedly asking myself to share the password to. s there a way to manually turn off "asking to share wifi passwords?" I went through the process of downloading iTunes and backing up her iphone, and opened the Microsoft photos app and began importing the photos. I got about 1/3 of the photos imported before it gave me an error. I believe that some of her photos are stored on the cloud, rather than on her local device. I don't remember all 4 of the app names but I remember 2, OXENFREE and Forgotten Anne. I have no idea what triggers it. This time I was in the iTunes Store looking at new music to buy and the apps start to download immediately once I click to but the song. Most pf the tome though, it when I'm in the Apps Store and downloading a new game. If anyone can tell me what the heck is going on that would be greatly appreciated. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 26 Dec 2019 01:44 PM PST Sometimes people dont receive my texts (rare), sometimes i receive texts and mms very late (often), and sometimes when I send out texts they arrive late or not at all. BUT if i click on the address link, the google maps preview, or the "Directions" button - it opens the Google Maps app and displays the dot of my current location, rather than showing the address/location i searched and clicked on. any solutions? | Switching from iMessage to SMS for new Android user Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:42 AM PST Hi all, My BF recently switched from his glitchy 6S+ to a Google Pixel - he's had numerous bad experiences with Apple and their customer service and decided he couldn't deal with it anymore. He and I now primarily communicate via Google Hangouts; however, I was easily able to deactivate iMessage for him by going to his contact page, clicking "Send Message," then selecting his phone number (instead of iMessage), which automatically formatted an SMS text. However, his mother, who has an ancient iPhone 4 or 5, is having trouble doing the same. (For reference, I have an 11 Pro.) She confirmed that when she tries to send him a text and it comes back as undeliverable, the text bubble is blue; I instructed her to do what I did to switch to SMS messaging. She says that when she goes to his contact page and clicks "Send Message," she's not given the option to select iMessage vs. his phone number vs. his email address - it just automatically tries to send an iMessage. I then told her to go to Settings -- Messages and turn on the "Send as SMS" option, but she said that it was already turned on and that she is able to send texts to other Androids. It's not the internets problem considering that the vpn works perfectly on my android phone what should I do? The apps I had need to be downloaded again but my home screen is still the same I just need to tap on the apps and it will download it for me; however, I can't download game pigeon(GP)because it doesn't show up like a normal app on my screen and I have to go into the App Store to download. When I go into the AppStore the Icon next to GP says it's started downloading and when I press the icon nothing happens. Any ideas on how I can download GP again. [link] [comments]  |
