    Hello r/jailbreak,

    After some internal discussion, we will be adding a "Filter Bypass" rule. This rule is to combat users who deliberately attempt to bypass our automod filters in place. It causes more work for us and is done with the intention of breaking the rules.

    This will only be enforced on intentional bypassing, where a user knowingly changes the formatting, adds emojis, uses images or substitutes characters of words to circumvent the filter.

    Here is what will happen when someone intentionally bypasses the filters:

    Strike 1: 1 Day Ban

    Strike 2: 5 Day Ban

    Strike 3: Permanent Ban

    This rule will go into effect in one week to allow everyone a chance to read this.

    Howto: Install Checkra1n on your iDevice without an working MacOs System

    What you need:

    2x Usb sticks or 1x stick with 2 partitions

    Transmac for Windows.

    An Hackintosh DMG.

    Checkra1n DMG.

    Some Frameworks and Dlyibs.

    —-Part one: Creating an bootable usb stick.—-

    So first of all you have to create an bootable usb stick with the installation files of macos. Open transmac, right click on your usb and choose „Restore with Disk image". Restoring the stick will take some time, after this is done open the file system of the stick by clicking on it in transmac.

    Now copy the downloded files

    AppleFSCompression.framework

    to

    /System/Library/Frameworks/ 

    MobileDevice.framework

    to

    /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/

    and

    libcrypto.35.dylib libssl.35.dylib

    to

    /usr/lib/

    —-Part two: Store checkra1n on the second stick—-

    Thats easy, just copy the checkra1n dmg to the second stick. It has to be formated in fat32 or

    —-Part three: Boot the usb and run checkra1n—-

    Boot your pc with your installation usb stick, connect the second stick and open the terminal.

    Now add these commands:

    ls /Volumes/

    (The first character is an small L)

    This command will show you your connected harddrives and usb sticks. After that write:

    hdiutil attach /Volumes/The Name of your second drive/checkra1n\ beta\ 0.9.7.dmg

    This will mount the checkra1n dmg as an harddrive.

    Then run the next command to start checkra1n:

    /Volumes/checkra1n/checkra1n.app/Contents/MacOs/checkra1n

    Now the terminal should ask you for an DFU device, your are done. Just start the jailbreak by entering the dfu mode with your connected iDevice.

    [Help] Cercube keeps signing me out

    Cercube keeps logging out of my Cercube account, forcing me to sign back in multiple times per day. Getting really frustrating because I purchased the ad free version.

    Tried searching and didn't see anyone else having this issue before. Any thoughts on how to fix it?

    EDIT: It's been happening for a couple weeks, but the frequency has increased for me the last couple of days. it's gone from mildly annoying to infuriating with the increased frequency.

    Thanks to everyone who took time out of their holiday seasons to look at my tweak. This really should have been the first release. I am making this post to prove that I listened to your suggestions, and I hope to make Dockify into a light weight alternative for other tweaks. Here are the improvements, with more to come:

    • Made it open source! (As of version 1.1, which I deleted the post about)
    • Changed Text input fields to sliders in preferences for a better user interface
    • Cleaned up preferences
    • Re wrote code for "hiding" the dock to actually make it hide the dock
    • Hiding the dock pushes any current icons in the dock out (so they don't get hidden)
    • Added notes to the source code to make it easier to read for anyone interested
    • Added an option for custom amount of icons in the dock (up to 20, but at that point I don't know how you would fit them)
    • Fixed a very rare crash to safemode on A12 devices relating to setting the dock height to 10 (maybe just my device?)

    Known issues: - Preferences require a respring to apply - Some layout issues setting the max icons to say, 20, and then putting 3 or less icons in the dock (FIX: set the max icons back to the amount you are using, or 4 if using less than 4)

    [Help] News on Impactor Xcode issue? Alt method?

    I'm on iPhone X, 12.4, and I've been using impactor to get unc0ver to work. I've been crazy busy and haven't looked into what I need to do to get back to jailbroken state. Is there any news? I don't have a Mac, is checkra1n the new go to? Will I lose all progress made? Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hello everyone! I received an apple watch for christmas but, in order to use it i'm being forced to upgrade my phone to iOS 13 and lose my jailbreak. I want to upgrade to 13.1.2, since that seems to the best version for a future jailbreak according to pwn. Is it possible to use future restore on my iPXS to take it from 12.4 to 13.1.2?

    I have used [[SpeakNotification]] daily since my iPhone 4 and have always used it on my various Bluetooth devices. Can anyone that has used both Announce Messages with Siri and SpeakNotification give an opinion and/or comparison? I have not been able to use Announce Messages with Siri, being I am on 12.4 and 12.4.1 on my phones and my iPad on 13.2.3 doesn't have the setting somehow.

    [Question] Should I update to iOS 13?

    Hey everyone. I just got an XR with iOS 12.4.1 that I could jailbreak right away. However, I'd like to move to iOS 13. For now there is no A12 jailbreak which is fine, but eventually I want to be able to jailbreak the phone. So my question is if there is something in the works for iOS 13 and A12, or I should just stay on 12.4.1 and be sure? I don't want to miss a window on iOS 13 if any exploits get patched in the later versions, so if I should update, I guess I should do so asap

    Are there any tweaks that enable Hey Siri while off the charger on the iPad Air 2 on iOS 13? A lot of the tweaks I have tried such as Hey Siri and Untethered Hey Siri don't work on iOS 13.

    I'm on an iPhone SE, iOS 10.2 and I'm a yalu102 refugee (still haven't worked out that xcode error). I moved to totally.not.spyware.lol and it was working beautifully for a while, until today, I had to reboot my phone and when I tried to jailbreak again it didn't work; I was stuck in a respring loop. Now I'm at a loss as for what to do. I've tried the up power button while jailbreaking with totally.not.spyware but that didn't work, and I don't know if it's worth the hassle of a VM for Xcode to get yalu102 working again. Is there any other way I can get into Safe Mode? I have no idea if it's a tweak, I haven't installed any tweaks in months.

    EDIT: I was able to respring into safe mode! I disabled many tweaks and resprung again, and it's working fine. I've not a clue how to pinpoint which tweak it is causing it though, any suggestions?

    [Help] Unc0ver jailbreak - I re - jailbroke my phone and Cydia isn’t opening. All the tweaks are running, just cydia isn’t opening. I reinstalled cydia and turned off reload daemons. Help pls
