Best way to transfer photos from iPhone to PC (windows 10) Posted: 27 Dec 2019 11:09 PM PST So the photos in windows is trash. Always getting errors when trying to import. I've tried the drag and drop in file explorer but some won't transfer and some I can't find in the files. Google photos is nice but I can't do a "download all" on my pc as I'm trying to put them on my hard drive. Any recommendations to transfer full size (or at least quality) photos and videos to my pc? Really need to clear up space. Thank you! [link] [comments] |
Do airpods work even though iPhone 7 hit with Loop Disease Posted: 27 Dec 2019 10:35 PM PST The title sums it up pretty much. Do the airpods mics work, and of course can you hear your music ... [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Dec 2019 07:11 PM PST I've been using it for an hour and typing this post on the phone with it plugged in and it has no lighting bolt next to the 1% I mean I been using it for an hour with it plugged and it still didn't turn off so... The guy said it could be a logic board issue but the battery replacement and charge port replacement atleast got my phone to turn on But it's stuck at 1% and won't connect to the computer it won't even recognize it. And also it just says searching with no service I'm using wifi Afraid to hard reset Incase it never comes back on... And the guy left the work was in a rush he said just leave it charge but it doesn't even have a damn lighting bolt next to the battery icon so is it even charging...? It literally just says 1% The guy said it may take a while for the phone to recognize it maybe even days but I don't even see a lighting bolt and he said he got it to 2% before he gave it to me(when he gave it to me it was 1%) [link] [comments] |

Iphone 6 Troubleshooting Issues Posted: 27 Dec 2019 01:59 PM PST I have a 64 GB Iphone 6 and have been experiencing some strange issues with it lately. The phone frequently dies above 50% charge. Sometimes I will charge it up to 100%, take it off the charger and it will die within 10 minutes. Once I plug it in and restart the phone, it will have 10% battery remaining. I am also having issues with the phone making noise even when it is put on silent mode. I will occasionally hear an audible alert for text messages, group chat messages, and reminders even after putting the phone on silent mode. The phone is also pretty laggy in general. Simple things like typing a text message will result in a delay after pressing each letter - the phone is not as responsive as it once was. What would you recommend as the best course of action to fix this issue? I am not in a position to go out and buy a new phone at this point in time so I need it to be an affordable option. I wouldn't be opposed to doing a factory reset if that is my best option. Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] |
Wireless Charging Impact on Battery (iPhone 11 Pro) Posted: 27 Dec 2019 04:45 PM PST I have a brand new iPhone 11 Pro and am trying to decide if I should start charging wirelessly (via Belkin BOOST UP Special Edition Wireless Charging Pad). I keep finding conflicting info on whether it has any negative impact on battery. What is the verdict? Also, should I let battery drain before charging or top it off regularly? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Dec 2019 04:05 PM PST Okay so I really need help, and I have no idea where to ask, so I'm giving this a go. So I have an iPhone 6s, if that matters, and it's broken. I broke it about a year ago and got it "repaired" by some random dude, instead of a shop. The phone has only gotten worse since then, but the problem I'm having at the moment is that it won't unlock. The touch doesn't work on 1/3 of the screen, it doesn't work in the middle. So when I turned the phone on, after it shut off, I had to insert the PIN code. Well I can't click the 'Ok' button! Is there any other way to unlocking without clicking 'Ok'??? [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Dec 2019 04:04 PM PST I have set a password for my locked notes while I have an iPhone 8 and I would only use the finger scan to unlock the notes so I had forgotten the actual password and I have upgraded to the iPhone 11 and now I can't access these locked notes because I'm missing the finger scan. I was wondering if there's any way I can recover my password. (I've tried changing my password but it doesn't change the previous password that still have my old notes locked). [link] [comments] |
iPhone 7+: Apps refresh when I navigate away, even for a few seconds Posted: 27 Dec 2019 10:43 AM PST Version 13.3 Example: Browsing Reddit & I want to comment with a link to an article. I'll navigate away to the browser to search for the article & when I come back to Reddit the app has refreshed & I'm back on my regular feed instead of where I left off. Another example: I'm watching a video on FB, receive a text & go to read/respond. I come back to the FB app & it's back on my regular feed instead of where I left off. Last example: I'm playing Yahtzee, get an email notification & quickly open it & delete the email. Maybe 10 seconds, at the most, and when I head back to Yahtzee the whole app refreshes. How in the HELL do I turn this app refresh off? All the articles I've found are in regards to the background app refresh, this is not the same thing. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 27 Dec 2019 08:42 AM PST Long title says it all - I purchased an unlocked Iphone 11 straight from the Apple Store as a Christmas present to my wife. She is not super tech savvy, so I performed the transfer with her last night. I performed the following steps (following apples directions I believe):
Wife wakes up today, and cannot text, email, etc. because phone's storage is full. When she goes into her Iphone storage, it shows the device is full - 126gb of data - 58gb of data was messages alone, and 57gb was photos. These numbers are MUCH higher than the original device's storage. Worse, when she attempts to delete photos/apps/text threads, they keep coming back and filling the phone's storage back up. My wife now hates me and her new iphone. Please help? :) [link] [comments] |
