[Update] DolphiniOS ver. 1.1.0 - Better performance on all devices, motion control emulation, and more

[Update] Happy Holidays, Y'all. Please enjoy the source code to my two "No Ads" tweaks, as well as the source code for my tweak repository. All licensed under CC.

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 04:35 AM PST

A few weeks ago I decided to let go of a few projects so that I could focus on other priorities. Coincidentally, at about the same time, one of you guys or gals made me aware of some jb drama and requested information about my tweaks being open or closed source. I explained that yes, my tweaks were closed, but I promised you that I would release the code soon. Today is that day.

"Reddit No Ads" and "Twitter No Ads" are both in the same public github repo here: https://github.com/kemmis/iOS-Tweaks

Additionally, the source for the tweak repository that I made can be found here: https://github.com/kemmis/cydia.kemmis.info

Everything is licensed under Creative Commons. Fork it, play with it, study it, modify it, and submit pull requests! Go wild, y'all! I am here for help and questions.

Give freely and expect nothing in return.

I'm grateful to be part of your community. 🙏❤👊

[Release] Sileo removal tool for checkra1n

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 08:26 AM PST

Since Sileo is absolutely fucked on devices running checkra1n that used the Installer CoolStar released, perish#9458 has made a bash script to fix the issues created by the installer. Just download it using wget or curl (or anything else) and run it using ./removesileo.sh After a moment you should see Cydia appear on your homescreen.

    The script: https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/659422988583829508/659430868510572554/removesileo.sh

Edit: Here's the creators twitter thread on this script: https://twitter.com/semicoloncola/status/1209873175699480577

[Release] WatchSounds - Change the stock notification sounds and vibrations on the Apple Watch. (Packix - $1.50)

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 06:04 AM PST

Hello r/jailbreak, first of all I wish you all happy holidays!

Today I release WatchSounds, A total game changer for Apple Watch users.

Ever since I got my Apple Watch, I was really disappointed that I couldn't change the default notification sounds and vibrations.

That got me working on WatchSounds.

A lot of time and research went into it and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I am.

Compatibility: iOS 11 to iOS 13 (Including A12 devices), WatchOS 4.0 - latest.

Price: $1.50 If you are unsatisfied with the tweak in any way, please contact me or request a refund. refunds are accepted as soon as I see them, no questions asked.

    Repo: repo.packix.com

Currently there are 10 different kinds WatchOS system sounds to choose from.

Most of the sounds and vibrations are never used in the regular WatchOS, but with WatchSounds you can repurpose them to any application you'd like.

There is an option to always forward notifications to the watch, even when the iPhone is unlocked.

Check out the demo video to hear all of the sounds: https://youtu.be/212G6_J7CEQ

    List of available sounds:

    • Phone call • Text message • Calendar event • Alarm • Digital touch • App notification • Emergency SOS vibration • Breathe • Walkie talkie (WatchOS 5+) • Health (WatchOS 5+)

Each sound is paired with its own vibration (can be heard in the demo video).

In the preference pane there are test buttons to play every one of the available sounds straight on the watch as shown in the demo video.

Currently there is no option to add your own custom sounds since there is no WatchOS jailbreak, thats why we have to use what is available in WatchOS. Luckily there are a bunch of sounds that are pretty great.

More sounds and vibrations will be added once WatchOS gets an update with more of them.

Get WatchSounds right now over on Packix for $1.50

If you are facing any kind of issues you can contact me right here on reddit, or on my Twitter @gilshahar7 I usually answer immediately unless I sleep.

Also, check out some of my other tweaks while you are at it:

    AVLock (free)

    ExactTime (free))

    BatteryNotch ($1.50)

    PearlRetry (free)

[Request] tweak that shows AirPods case in battery widget collapsed view

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 06:22 PM PST

Currently, the battery widget only shows 'AirPod case' if you press 'show more' on the widget.

However, it would be useful to have it in the collapsed view, so that you can see it at a glance.

[Help] Jailbreak without a home button?

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 03:16 PM PST

I have an iPhone 6s running iOS 13.2.3. The home button is no longer functioning. To use checkra1n you have to put the device into dfu mode and I can't do that because my home button is broken. Is there any way to enter dfu mode without the home button, maybe using some kind of software? Are there any other jailbreaks available for iOS 13?

    [QUESTION] GET_TASK_ALLOW on checkra1n?

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 01:46 PM PST

Hey, so I'm trying to reverse engineering some iOS systems binaries. In unc0ver, I used to be able to just switch on get_task_allow and debugserver would be able to attach to whatever process just fine. Checkra1n has no such option and it isn't enabled by default so I'm a bit puzzled on how to get it working.

[Question] I found an iPad mini 3 and jailbroke it with checkra1n. Can I do anything useful with it?

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 09:33 PM PST

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to put older devices like the mini 3 to good use? Especially when jailbroken.

Keep in mind, the mini 3 can only run up to iOS 12.4.4, which is what I'm on.

    Any and all suggestions welcome!

[Discussion] Did Apple just revoke all certificates? ReProvision broken?

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 09:21 PM PST

ReProvision will not sign anything, gets stuck at 60%. I noticed something was wrong when I inspected my signed apps and they were greyed out/disabled, I'm unable to open them. I have tried:

    -reinstall ReProvision

    -re-enter Apple credentials

    -revoke current certificates

    -run iCleaner clean

-disable all substrate addons in iCleaner, respring, re-enable

I'm not sure what to try next. If I reboot, I won't have a jailbreak due to the apps being disabled. Is anyone else having this problem?

    Posted: 25 Dec 2019 06:54 PM PST

I'm using my iPhone X on 12.4 with unc0ver but need to update to 13 so I can use my Apple Watch.

Usually I would backup then restore and update the iOS is this still necessary? Or can I restore rootfs update and run checkra1n ?
