IM GOING TO DESTROY MY PHONE IF IT DOESNT STOP SCREAMING Hello everyone! Insane problem going on here and I can't find one thing on the internet about it. Around last night at 4:30 AM my IPhone XS Max randomly started SCREAMMINGGG high pitched frequencies from the bottom right speaker. The noise was very high pitched and It would even sometimes start static-ing. My phone was turned off and I was so confused. Eventually it stopped after a few minutes only to continue again 5 more minutes later. It finally stopped by 4:50 and EVEN SHUTTING MY PHONE COMPLETELY OFF DID NOTHINGGGG. As you can see IM VERY FRUSTRATED, I have a phone worth over a thousand dollars randomly making me go deaf no matter what I do. I reset my phone and even tried lowering the volume, nothing. I thought maybe an insane bug was going on so I let it go. Then around 30 minutes ago. AGAIN IT STARTED HAPPENING WHILE USING SNAPCHAT THIS TIME. | Can’t Dismiss Lock Screen notifications Posted: 03 Nov 2019 05:10 PM PST I've noticed since the update, it's been super hard to swipe left on notification on my lock screen without opening the camera by swiping left. It used to be easy where I could just swipe left and tap clear, but now it's really hit and miss and sometimes works and sometimes will open the camera. Any ideas or people with similar issues? | Iphone XR mic muffled on snapchat and instagram Posted: 03 Nov 2019 07:58 PM PST I'm having an issue where the mic sounds fuzzy, muffled when I record videos with the front and rear camera on snapchat and instagram. Both front and back microphones/cameras work perfectly fine when using the iOS camera app. Any ideas as to why this is happening? I thought it might be because snapchat and instagram we're trying to use my headphone's mic but I still get the same issue when I disconnect any bluetooth devices. [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone 7+ no notifications for any apps (minus texts and calls) Posted: 03 Nov 2019 07:38 PM PST My girlfriends iPhone recently stopped receiving notifications. I believe around the time iOS 13 was released and downloaded. Her texts and calls still work. But no snapchat, email, Instagram, etc notifications do not work. No banners, badges, sounds, status bar, lock screen banners no nothing. She can open snapchat and then see she has a bunch of new messages she didn't know about etc. We have just updated to iOS 13.1.whatever tonight with no change. Looked through all setting with no luck. Restarted the phone etc etc. Can anyone offer any further guidance? I wanted to downgrade to iOS 12 to maybe fix the issue but that also seems like a challenge. Would this be easy? Thanks In advance ! **** edit. | new to iphone have a few random questions Posted: 03 Nov 2019 06:23 PM PST been longtime android user, making the switch to ios. been about a week deep into ios and love it, but a few questions -How do I make chrome my default browser? -When I scroll all the way left, and there are news feeds - can i change the news sources? are there other feeds I could add? do you recommend any? -When I scroll all the way left, and I go to the search bar, after I search - it asks me to search the web, appstore, phone, etc. can I make it always search web? -Can i have youtube picture in screen like how my android has it? -If I am multi tasking, and for example Im playing a youtube video, and I switch to make a few texts, when I go back to youtube, it goes back to the main youtube screen, and doesnt save the video I was watching even if im in the middle of it. -How do get to the volume 'mixer' to change ringer volume, media volume, voice volume, etc. -can I add a whatsapp widget on my homescreen that displays my messages without opening the app? such as android has? -Does Ios have an app drawer? or everything into folders? -is swipe the only way to navigate the ios? is there a perm 'back' button I can add? or is the swiping something I will get used to. some apps dont support this feature and its hard to reach all the way to the edge of the screen to go back. thank you. lots of questions, but randoms that i have come up with over a few days. thanks for your time. its pro max, btw. thanks. -jeff. | iPhone 11 Pro Max - IOS 3.2 frequent restarts Posted: 03 Nov 2019 04:15 PM PST I have found since upgrading from 13.1.3 to 13.2 that with some apps (notably Safari and Firefox ) , after some usage, all of a sudden the iPhone screen goes black and it reboots . I am putting this out there to see if others are having this issue with IOS 13.2 . I have also noticed the issue other have reported where it appears as if memory management is broken in iOS 13.2 as sometimes while switching another app, the earlier app has to reload or the webpage I am connected to has been logged out since Safari must reload. | Help Resetting My Improperly Functioning iPhone Posted: 03 Nov 2019 02:46 PM PST Recently, my iPhone's screen stopped functioning. I bought a new one and now need to wipe the old one. I can't wipe the phone remotely on iCloud or Find My iPhone, it just says "Erase Pending". It is pending because the phone is not connected to the internet and I can't connect it because the screen is completely non functional. The buttons do work though. | Cannot factory reset iPhone SE Posted: 03 Nov 2019 12:54 PM PST I've just bought an iPhone SE which wouldn't power up or charge. I've replaced the battery and it's now working fine, but is obviously still set up for the seller. After making sure they had all they needed off the phone, I tried resetting using the "hold both buttons until the logo appears" method, but it just booted up to the home screen and asked for the passcode (the sellers background still present too etc) It won't connect to my laptop as it requires the passcode for that. I'd rather not have to ask the seller for their passcode if I can help it... what else could I try? [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 03 Nov 2019 09:49 AM PST I've been syncing photos from my laptop (HP Spectre x360, Windows 10) onto my phone (iPhone 7, iOS 13.1.3), and when I pull up the photos on my phone, some of them have the wrong date, September 22, 2018. I've tried changing the date created, date taken, date modified, date accessed, and it did work for some photos but I still have a few photos and basically all the videos I've taken that have the 2018 date. None of the (visible) metadata has the 2018 date anymore so I have no idea what the iPhone is reading when it sorts my photos like that. I'd appreciate it if someone could help me fix this. My screen brightness continues to lower itself. I could have the brightness on half, unlock the phone, swipe down from the top right and and the brightness is almost all the way down.
