    Evening all, hope everyone is having a great night.

    I've had a bunch of iPhones in the past (3GS, 5, 6, 7 plus, X) and I like to mix it up so I'd bounce back and forth to android usually every other to every third phone. My most recent phone was the Samsung Galaxy S10+ and while it has some benefits I found myself getting seriously fed up with Samsung and Android in general. The biggest selling point for me on the 11 Pro was the size and the cameras. I'm not sure I'll go back to android anymore. I'm no fanboy by far and for my uses I can't see many drawbacks with the new phone.

    So it's been a few since I have had an iPhone full time, what suggestions and tips to all of you have? Apps, daily use tips and just overall suggestions.

    Custom Ringtones with iPhone and MacOS Catalina

    I just got a renewed iPhone XS - I don't like restoring from backup so I was trying to figure out how to load my m4r ringtones onto my phone.

    Firstly - if you don't know how to make your own m4r ringtones look at this article

    On Catalina the difference is you need to open music (not iTunes).

    step 5 - right click -> save as AAC - option isn't there. You have to select the song and go to File pulldown -> convert Create AAC Version.

    step 8 - double clicking or trying to add to the music app doesn't work anymore

    Basically you can drag and drop into the iPhone title bar in finder.

    One of the comments mentions you may have to have manage manually your media by checking the box

    But this worked for me. The ringtones showed up in sound and haptics area of settings.

    Any tips on how to make iphone 11 pro max photos not blurry?

    So the camera is objectively great, but I'm wondering how to just shoot "flat" photos. How do I shoot a photo and not have a focal point and the rest blur?

    I'm noticing this in portrait mode as well as regular mode.

    It's really annoying. Can anyone help?

    What is the current state of 3D Touch on iOS 13?

    I have an iPhone7 running ios12.

    I'm specifically interested in the 3D Touch on the left hand side of the display to go back to the last app or activate the app switcher view.

    I don't use peak and pop so I'm not worried about losing them. But I use the 'pull from the left' all the time for moving quickly between apps.

    I won't update to ios13 if this doesn't work with the speed and fluidity that I'm used to.

    So is it safe for me to update?

    11 Pro Max Squeaky Back?

    Does anyone's iPhone 11 Pro Max make a clicky sound when pressing it a little near the apple logo? I just noticed this when applying a new screen protector. Wondering if it's every unit or just mine.

    Can my phone be causing malfunctioning of lightning cables?

    Title is quite straightforward, basically my first lightning cable stopped working after 1 year and a half, and I borrowed my sister's a couple of times this week, and now hers has been malfunctioning, can my phone be the problem?. Thank you in advance, and sorry for my grammar, english is not my native language.

    iPhone 7 Users, How’s Your Battery in IOS 13?

    My battery capacity is at 80% so I know it's not the best battery. It usually dies after about 4-5 hours of use. Just wondering if battery would drain less if replaced and the phone would get less hot so quickly

    Apple stopped signing iOS 6.1.3 for iPhone 4S and iPad 2

    Well, it was nice while it lasted. Sad to see it go. I downgraded a load of devices over the years and iOS 9 runs like garbage on those devices. It was an easy way to get them back to iOS 8.

    Iphone X is brighter than 11 Pro

    Recently I bought an iphone 11 pro. Im really enjoying it but one evening I accidently looked at my mums iphone X, which was very bright at the time. I took it, maxed the brithnesses of both phones and compared them. Surprisingly - Iphone X was far brighter. Why is that? Is that even possible? Apple said that 11pros have brightest displays EVER.

    P.s. all the settings did match. It didnt matter if it was compared with true tone on or not.
