What are your thoughts on Apple ditching the Lightning port for USB-C for the next gen iPhones? Posted: 06 Nov 2019 02:04 PM PST I think it would be great to have a universal adapter for all electronics now that a lot of smartphones, accessories and laptops are moving towards USB-C. One cable to charge them all! [link] [comments]

Recommended Applications for someone returning to an iPhone Posted: 06 Nov 2019 05:26 PM PST Hello Folks! I have been back and forth on iPhone and Android devices over the years for both personal and business devices. I recently switched to an iPhone 11 Pro on my personal device as I am a fan of the OS but also Apples privacy policies as the compare to Googles. I am looking for the best of breed applications that are a must. Some of the applications I am looking for: Reddit Facebook alternative (none native) RSS Calculator with unit and currency conversion Notes - ideally one that has a web app Anything you really recommend Ideally each application would not be horrible with respects of privacy, access to location, contacts etc etc. Thanks you [link] [comments]
Posted: 06 Nov 2019 03:52 PM PST Hey everyone, I am getting an iPhone 11 in white tomorrow in the mail. I'm really excited but I have a few questions: -1. Is it worth leaving in the plastic wrap until my case and screen protectors come in? I heard it scratches really easily. -2. Should I update to iOS 13.2 (I heard it's awful (performance, memory, etc), update to the new beta, or stay at what it will be in the box? -3. Not that important, but am I able to make Google Maps the default nav app in iOS 13? Same with gmail. Thanks in advance! [link] [comments]
