Recommendation- Sky: Children of Light Posted: 25 Nov 2019 06:20 PM PST Hello, so I just got a refurbished iPhone SE and was aching to find some decent F2P games. TBH as a primarily console gamer I was a little intimidated by the F2P mobile scene but I ended up scouring through the App Store. The only game I really enjoyed so far was Dragalia Lost, a Gacha RPG by Nintendo. Best gacha by far IMO but at the same time I needed something else. Something a little more deep... So I came across a game named "Sky: Children of Light" on my App Store home page. I was a little concerned as I never was a fan of walking simulators and puzzle games. I knew what Journey was but never thought much of it. Being free, I thought I'd give it a shot First of all, beautiful game! Graphics are wonderful and while I couldn't hear it due to personal issues, I could appreciate it without the apparently amazing sound design. After going through all of the levels I was a little confused about the gameplay loop of Sky. What will encourage me to continue through it? So basically, just in case someone else gets a little lost, the main loop is finding spirits and candles littered all over the map. There's a really nice social touch where players are all over the map, and you can befriend them at any time to reveal their appearance and send gifts. Yes, very wholesome. I have hardly put it down and have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised in enjoying a simple walking simulator by Thatgamecompany. I feel it comes down to the social aspect and relaxing gameplay that shines. Monetisation of course, is pretty decent. There's a Battle Pass of sorts and you can buy candles to gift to NPCs and players to unlock content that is mainly cosmetic and candles are pretty simple and less grindy than most. So if you wanna chill and immerse yourself in a charming world without the bullshit I recommend this game wholeheartedly. It really did surprise me. [link] [comments]

Looking for classic games to replay Posted: 26 Nov 2019 09:12 AM PST Recently re-downloaded 'You must build a boat' and '10000000'. Having a lot of fun replaying them again and now I'm looking for any recommendations for similar games that I should re-download to play through again. Thanks for any recommendations! Lightning AV Adapter for games on TV and Steam Link/OneCast Posted: 26 Nov 2019 07:19 AM PST With the ability to pair a Xbox One controller to the iPad I was wondering if it would be possible to connect your iPhone/iPad to the TV to play games on the big screen. Native iOS games, Remote Play for Xbox, PS4 and Steam. Is there any unreasonable amount of lag or other problems that would make the experience not worth it? Sure, streaming over Wi-Fi isn't optimal but I had no problems with OneCast and the Steam Link app so far. [link] [comments]

Any civ like game thats much simpler? Focus on building Posted: 25 Nov 2019 10:35 AM PST Want to get into civ but its too overwhelming and too much stuff is going on. I like the building aspect a lot, the fighting not so much. [link] [comments]

Posted: 25 Nov 2019 03:23 PM PST I do most of my gaming on my phone these days but most the games that I play have a ranked latter and are highly competitive and I tend to get very serious with them. I need something that for a relaxation game. Something vs a computer with a good adventure. I'm a huge fan of Skyrim (but I don't like how grindy Blades is). Is there anything out there that y'all recommend that I could get addicted to, I'm not against paid apps ether. [link] [comments]
