    It seems strange to me that there is no way to automatically arrange the (apparently) random jumble of app bubbles in grid view: all you can do is drag each one individually. This is a classic example of a UI that looks cool but is thoroughly impractical in reality

    Apple Music on Watch vs iPhone

    Am I the only one who hears a distinct difference when I listen on my watch vs my iPhone? For my the music quality on the watch is much better. It sounds clearer and louder. I don't have any eq settings enable on my iPhone so I'm really unsure as to what the problem is.

    Has anyone with a nickel allergy tried the ceramic Apple Watch?

    I have a nickel allergy and I am sensitive to the aluminum and stainless steel Apple watches. I currently have the aluminum case and it bothers my skin.

    I have read the materials listed here on Apple's website: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204665

    It does not mention that the ceramic casings have nickel, but it mentions that "the magnets in the Apple Watch" might. I was wondering if anyone sensitive to metals has worn one and can let me know how it worked out.

    Series 2 Screen Mysteriously Cracked on side

    Need some advice here. I woke up Monday to find my watch screen cracked ever so slightly on the rounded part. I didn't knock it or hit it, the watch face just cracked. I did some research and found out this is an issue (here) and I promptly took the watch to the apple store. From there the Genius crew looked at the watch and said it didn't qualify with my crack. Needless to say I am very disappointed for three reasons. 1st, I didn't cause the crack, 2nd, I can't swim with the watch now and 3rd, it could grow and get larger. I understand people work the system and try to get a free replacement but that's not the case here. I actually googled the issue simply because I was perplexed how this could have happened.

    Here is the kicker, the Apple store manager told me I could send the watch in and 'hope' they find the issue to certify with the program and get a new watch screen free of charge. However, if the screen was not found to certify I would owe $150 for the new screen, this would be automatic. They (the store) did NOT think it would qualify for the program since I had a slight scuff on the exterior of the watch away from the actual crack.

    I voiced my displeasure with the store manger and he told me I could get $50 towards a brand new series 5! I declined and politely asked the manager how I would know a brand new series 5 wouldn't perform the same as my series two and crack for no reason. I told the manager thanks but no thanks and left the store.

    Does anyone here see any other recourse or advice? I also called and spoke with support and they said I must go into the store to qualify for this program. Very disappointing. I realize the watch is older but I'm running a 6 plus phone with NO problems and love it. There is nothing that says you need a new watch every year.

    1 exercise minute when not wearing the watch. But no corresponding heart rate data.

    Hi there. I have a series 3. The other morning at 5am my watch recorded 1 exercise min and 2 cals burned when I was not wearing. I've heard of the watch measuring heart rate from vibrations in a table, but in this case i had no corresponding heart rate data recorded.

    Has anybody else experienced this?

    [WatchOS 6.1] [Series4]Watch & Iphone connection fluctuation

    Hello everyone,

    I know my title isn't self explanatory, so let me try to brief the context of the issue.

    It's noticed that, in a day 4-5 times i notices that the connection between iwatch & iphone is lost. suddenly i see that my watch don't do any haptic notification, when checked my watch is in locked status (which happens by default if the connection between watch & phone is lost). Another scenario that i have seen is at morning, my watch is on my wrist during the sleep, and morning my watch don't vibrate for alarm which annoys me, because watch haptic vibration turns out to be the best way for me to kick myself from bed :)

    Did anyone else face similar issue & if there is any solution/setting that needs to be done, please let me know.

    PS: I've already tried to unpair & pair my watch, no changes seen

    I'd like to store my TOTP tokens on my watch only, so they are not stored on my iPhone. Is there an app that does this? I realise it might be a challenge to get the credentials onto the watch itself, so I'm not sure that anybody has built such an app. Bonus points if it's open source! :-)

    Watch says resting heart rate is ~63, but I've never seen my pulse go below 75 and I don't sleep with the watch on either. Where is it getting this 63 number? When I lay on my couch and relax for awhile I'll look at my pulse and it's about 75 (which seems high since I work out 5 days a week). I can't imagine it gets much lower than this.

    So Best Buy is running a promotion on the Apple Watch series 4 stainless steel for $399 but all sizes and colors are sold out.... I talked to Best Buy customer service and I spoke with a sales person who told that they'll be receiving more for the holiday weekend but that it's only available in store.... Idk how I feel about going to the store to make the purchase and I prefer online. I also don't know how credible he could be.... so my question is would it be best to just get the $499 version which the only difference is the Milanese loop or wait to see if the $399 one is back in stock on Thursday/Friday?
