They can't fix the offer from showing up in the TV app, however, they will generate you a unique 1 year offer code for you to redeem in the iTunes/App Store. Before this, I have tried using tv.apple.com via desktop, TV app on iphone/mac, and it would refuse to give me the 1 year offer. I purchased a 2019 MBA mid-October. Oddly, the code redemption confirmation will show that you redeemed a 1 week trial, but the subscription price will say it doesn't start until Nov. 2020... The problem with the Apple TV app is that it doesn’t work like Apple Music. Posted: 03 Nov 2019 12:45 AM PDT You cannot create playlists. You cannot 'love' a show or series and be recommended similar shows. You can't add an unreleased series and have it added to your library when released, or be notified when it's released (iTunes has rudimentary email notifications for this which kind of work). You can't change the order and layout of the streaming TV services in the app. Most importantly, you cannot say 'show me less of this' and remove the large amount of dross all the TV apps push to you.
