- I have a big question for Apple: You have removed the 3D touch for the newer devices, but integrated the "long haptic touch" instead. While the older devices still have got the 3D touch, do they really need the "long haptic touch" too? It's very confusing and annoying when both features are in use.

- I’ve texted many words in all upper case letters, now when I type normally, it will autocorrect some words to all caps. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

- Battery life on iOS 13.2 is terrible compared to 13.0 & 13.1 on my iPhone 8 plus
- Someone has something like Castbridge but for Windows? I’m trying to cast my ATV+ content to my Chromecast, but I don’t have a mac (at the time) to use it as bridge, only a Windows laptop. Any help appreciated!

| Posted: 01 Nov 2019 02:36 AM PDT I am not sure if this is specific to just iOS 13, but wanted to see if anyone else is having a similar issue. I have the Xs, and it seems it's a 50/50 chance that my phone doesn't charge when I plug it in. I do have the USB Access turned off unless the phone is unlocked, but don't see what that would be an issue for charging. My iPad doesn't have this issue. Wanted to see if anyone else was having this problem. If it was maybe the Xs or iOS 13. This phone has been pretty lame...from battery life to spotty charging. Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||

Using the guide I am unable get past the "insert new payment method'. I think the problem stems from that my banking is still at my old location until I am able to open a bank account in my new location for a while "anti money laundering regulations" Any links to guides or information, changing defaults etc. Still getting old location news as default. | New Apple Maps data layers on iPadOS but not iOS? Posted: 01 Nov 2019 08:09 AM PDT I'm running 13.2 on both an iPad Pro and an iPhone 8 Plus. I'm in Southeast Michigan, and I've noticed that my iPad is displaying the new data layers (yay!) but my iPhone isn't. Is anyone else experiencing something like this? Does it make any sense? The only real difference between the apps should be the size of the viewing window. I'd think that they would still use the same data layers. | Calling shortcut with Siri and automations Posted: 01 Nov 2019 08:08 AM PDT I made a shortcut in the app and after setting the name for it I call the shortcut through Siri and Siri runs the shortcut perfectly but everytime before reading the content of my shortcut or the output it says "Your shortcut says " , so is there a way that Siri reads the output without saying that ? Secondly Automated tasks that I have set to run at a particular time would ask my permission to run when the time comes what's the purpose of setting an automated task if I have to press "Run" every-time?? | Access non processed portrait photo Posted: 01 Nov 2019 07:02 AM PDT When I import a portrait mode photo from photos into Lightroom, I always end up with a jpeg and thus loose the depth map. A normal photo is imported as a heic so I suspect this is an iOS API feature ( requesting a heci with depth map, applies the current effect data and returns a jpeg) Can anyone confirm ? So on Android, I just copy a movie/photo do my computer by connecting the cable to the computer, and then I would go to instagram and the photo/video woud appear there. Im trying to upload a video to instagram that I edit on the computer and I just cant. If I go to files on my iPhone, I can see the video there, but it just doesnt appear on Instagram app. I cant move it to the camera roll either. This is super super frustating... | Earbuds are cutting out when plugged in and adjusting phone volume by themselves? Posted: 01 Nov 2019 05:48 AM PDT Just as the title says. I previously had an iPhone 6S where the sound would cut out as the wires moved in certain directions. I upgraded to the 11 Pro a couple weeks ago and even when plugged into the dongle, they still do that. Even more, they're adjusting my phone's volume on their own! I'll have my volume set and then the volume slider will move to 0 and back randomly. I thought this was an issue with just my old phone because of water damage, but it persists with my new phone. I've also had the sound cutting issue when my earbuds are plugged into my Xbox controller, too. However my earbuds are fine when plugged into my PCs. I don't know why this issue is happening. I don't know if it's an iOS bug or something. I have the latest version, as did my old phone. [link] [comments]  | ||
