Steam launches new app update that crashes on launch from using depreciated API from iOS 9 Posted: 26 Oct 2019 09:40 AM PDT Be wary of downloading the new update Steam has released on the AppStore. From /u/colbys_valve
I'm sorry Valve - but Apple allows for beta testing these updates with Testflight. Now - anyone who has updated the app cannot receive 2FA codes. From /u/renssies
This is even more unacceptable. Developers have been receiving warnings about the removal of this API since iOS 9! Almost 5 years ago!! [link] [comments]
Going into 2020 deciding between an XR and an 11 Posted: 25 Oct 2019 06:56 PM PDT Right now I'm working with a 6s and this will be my first new Apple phone purchase I'm not very interested in cameras, I don't really take pictures so it's not gonna be a big factor for me. I'm not gonna tell you that I'm readily available to drop 1k on a phone, while I don't wanna spend too much, I'm not worried about $200CAD extra in the long run. Any advice on whether to go smart with the XR and save some bucks, or just go with the new toy for years to come Thanks! [link] [comments]
Thoughts about Charger Vs PowerBank Posted: 26 Oct 2019 09:33 AM PDT I am currently shopping for a all in one charging solution for USB devices. I need to have at least USB C with PD and multiple USB A. I am unsure if i should just get a charger or I thought maybe a Power Bank type device that Ill leave plugged in all the time and use a charger. what are your thoughts? any device recommendations? If I go charger I am leaning toward the Anker PowerPort. But.. Its only 18W USB C, can't charge a laptop with that.. :( https://www.anker.com/products/variant/powerport-strip-pd-2-mini/A9122122 or this one, kind of bigger but more power https://www.anker.com/products/variant/powerport-atom-pd-4/A2041122 [link] [comments]
Posted: 26 Oct 2019 09:14 AM PDT I'm keen to replace the battery of my four-year-old i6s which the battery health shows 72% now and thinking of going to the Apple store but need some advice. Does it make any difference, though? Thanks [link] [comments]

Is this possible with this description? Posted: 26 Oct 2019 09:58 AM PDT Hi everyone im from hungary and iphone prices compared to the USA is ridiculous. You are lucky to find an iphone 11 for 900$... Im interested in buying online with us prices but WITHOUT tariffs. Its pretty unlucky to make less money than us citizens and make the iphone more expensive here. [link] [comments]

Does ScreenTime still not allow for the exclusion of certain apps in screen time total? Posted: 26 Oct 2019 08:15 AM PDT I've searched before, and for example, maps navigation while driving, I don't want that included in my Screen Time. Does ScreenTime still not allow for the exclusion of certain apps of one's choosing? [link] [comments]

Any tips on how to maintain a phone so it lasts for a long time? Posted: 25 Oct 2019 05:26 PM PDT I just got a pre-owned iPhone XR and I checked the IMEI to find out it's been owned for 10 months. I want to use this phone for at least 2-3 years. What are some general tips you guys have to keep a phone healthy and in a very good condition for that amount of time. Also the owner of the phone is older and barely used the phone since the battery health is at 99% [link] [comments]
