    I lose 1% every 2-3 minutes on my iphone 6s plus, I replaced the battery about 13 days ago and it was fine at first then I updated my phone to iOS 13.1.2 and there the battery went to shit. Now I'm on iOS 13.1.3. It seems to behave better but is it normal ?

    Apple Maps and alternate routes while driving

    Does Apple Maps do this as well as Google Maps? Apple Maps consumes WAY less battery, and I use Google Maps on a weekly basis. I love how Google Maps gives me an alternate route when there's a recent accident ahead that I'm not aware of (since I'm driving, obviously) or some unexpected traffic.

    iPhone IOS 13.1.3 Volume automatically changes

    Hey r/

    On one of our customers iPhone their volume keeps changing to the MAX.

    We've tried everything we were able to find online but can't pin down what can cause this.
    * Reboot
    * Disable Bluetooth
    * Checked if their was dust between the volume up keys
    * Checked if their was dust between the case and the iPhone

    What I can think is that the device is linked via WiFi to the SONOS speakers and the sound bar which is shown is the sound bar of SONOS and not of the iPhone. Otherwise I also found that if you disable "location services" this could be resolved. Yet "Location Services" needs to be active for Dropbox to work...

    Anyone else had or encountered this issue and was able to resolve it?

    Is the option to Remove From Recents in iMessages when creating a new text message gone now?

    I used to be able to click the "i" icon next to the contact's name to remove the contact(s) from recents, but I no longer see the option to.

    Issues with Mail after Update

    I'm experiencing some issues with my Mail app that I can't seem to find discussed here. First, the search feature is much less robust than it used to be, but I don't think it's by design; it seems buggy. When I search for something I know I sent a week ago, it shows no results, even when typing something very generic. And sometimes the email I look for will pop up but then disappear immediately. Second, when I forward an email with an attachment, the attachment is not showing up. This also happens when I forward a text email from someone else - the recipient of my email can only see what I wrote, not the original message I was forwarding.

    Is anyone experiencing these issues?

    iCloud and iCloud Photos Backup

    Hello, I have strange situation. I had 5GB storage in iCloud and full with photos and old backup of my phone. I activate 50gb then I did iCloud Backup (which was like 10gb) (32gb SE [~25gb was full with "others"]). After backup I did iTunes restore and then downloaded iCloud backup.

    My question is .. are all photos backuped or I lost all photos which was not in iCloud because I don't let iPhone did it's job.

    iBooks won’t download iCloud Drive PDFs

    iBooks won't download iCloud Drive PDFs. On most current iOS update and I've spent an hour trying to do as much troubleshooting as I can from all the info I've found online and NOTHING will make my PDFs download from iCloud Drive to iBooks!!!!!!

    WHAT IS GOING ON!!!!?

    Email hasn't been pushing for 3 days now. Apple has gone to shit man.

    No option to delete groups of contacts/phone numbers from prior group messages, when starting a new text message to single contact

    I believe in iOS 12, there was an option to delete group messege lists that would appear when typing in a single contact's name in the messages app when attempting to write that person a text message.

    I have noticed after the update to iOS 13, that there is no option to delete the entire list. I am almost certain in iOS 12 we had that option.

    Also, for whatever reason, when I try to send a message to a single contact, who was also recently involved in a group message, the group list will appear first at the top, and I usually have to scroll down through other group lists before I can find the single contact.

    This is unbelievably annoying. How can this simple, extremely needed option, not be available anymore? How could this have been overlooked by Apple.

    To be clear, I do not have the group thread anymore in my messages. I hate group texts, and delete the entire thread as soon as my part of the conversation is over.

    so a feature downgrade in ios13 from 12: cannot save bulk media in messages

    As confirmed in this article.

    We don't know why, but Apple does not include the option to save multiple photos in the Message app with iOS 13 and iPadOS. Instead, we need to save images one at a time–which is a big pain in the you know what if you have a lot of images to save!

    We hope this is just an oversight by Apple and that this feature returns in later iOS 13 and iPadOS versions!

    question regarding carplay

    Hi,

    I've never had an iphone and I'm thinking of buying one. Currently, I'm using Android Auto (which technically isn't available in my country, but you can still download & install the apk).

    My question: I currently use vlc to play music because it's recognizes all the albums/artist/playorder properly. In my car (when using Android Auto), I play music in the background and waze/google maps (I switch a lot. phone heats up a lot when using waze). Can I do this easily/consistently in Apple Carplay?

    2nd question: if I connect and ios device via bluetooth and in my car change the audio source to bluetooth, will it automatically play music using an app I choose (in my case vlc)?

    I hope my question is somewhat clear :s

    I’m not really happy with iOS, just issues

    Things I've noticed since moving to iOS 12 and have continued into 13.

    I'd like to know if it's just me or maybe I've got something setup wrong.

    Unknown text senders don't go to the unknown senders tab

    Unknown callers don't go to the unknown callers tab.

    Regardless of what I try, visual voicemail no longer works. Used to, but not since iOS 12. Tried changing the password, resetting the phone, etc...

    If I'm listening to something, Apple Podcast app, Audible, etc...then unplug my headphones for any reason and plug them back in later, I find that playback restarts the moment they are plugged back in. So I lose my place all the time.

    I have a contact with three numbers, regardless of how many times I try to change to order of the numbers on their contact, when I try to send them a text it defaults to their desk phone number, I have to select their name, then the arrow, then the mobile.

    I can't disable the "Memoji" crap from displaying, outside of just removing the emoji keyboard (which I've done). It keeps suggesting it, seems like every time one of my family members sends one, when I hit the text box to reply, it doesn't even display the keyboard, just goes right to emoji (well did before I removed the keyboard)

    There are other issues, all of them mild usability garbage that, I hate to say it, would not have been tolerated years ago.

    Granted, I might be too old to figure out these settings or changes, but I feel like the phone is trying to make decisions for me, to help me do what it thinks I want to do, but isn't paying attention to how I actually do things.

    Might be time to go back to just a flip phone I guess.

    Music pauses itself

    This has happened before, but today I saw something interesting. The audio output icon had turned blue and the phone was trying to send the music to a set of speakers it had found while I was on my way somewhere and the phone, the EarPods and the other output device were fighting each other causing music to just keep stopping. When my music paused itself in the past I don't think the audio output had changed (think the music had just stopped). I'm using an iPhone 7+ on 13.1.3, but 13.1.2 did the same with the music pausing.

    Anyone else?

    Apps open themselves

    A quick bit of Google said failing touchscreen but I refuse to believe that since before 13.1.3 we were all good. On 13.1..3 I had the weather app open itself while the phone was locked in my pocket. I'm using an iPhone 7+. Anyone else?
