| Does this seem too good to be true? Posted: 23 Sep 2019 01:13 PM PDT Ok I was browsing my local offer up and stumbled upon an iPhone 11 pro 64Gb. Guy listed it for $800... (first red flag) I casually message and ask about the phone and ask why he's selling a brand new phone for $800. He says he didn't like it and wants a new phone. I'm already on high alert because the cheapest iPhone 11 pro I've found is $1000... Anyways the guy says it's paid off and that he has the receipt and everything for the phone. I tell him about a common scam where people sell phone that works and a week or two later report the phone lost/stolen and the buyer is stuck with a blacklisted phone while the seller pays a deductible and gets a brand new phone. He said he's not a scammer (naturally..) and that we can meet any any store to verify everything etc. he even said he'd show me his ID as well. With all that being said. Am I overreacting or does this seem way too good to be true... [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 23 Sep 2019 09:42 PM PDT I forgot to take the phone out of my pocket when I got baptized yesterday. I didn't think much of it like the dumbass I am and went on with my day. First, the screen starting dimming 5 hours later than when I went to bed and my alarm woke me up and it was just fine and now the screen won't turn on. Do you guys have any fixes? Posted: 23 Sep 2019 01:39 PM PDT I've been out of the loop for a bit but i have experienced, as well as read a few articles regarding issues with lte (and possibly WiFi) signal on the XS/XS Max. Has anyone here experienced any problems with the 11 thus far? My wife has a 9+ and she consistently has at least one but typically two more bars than i do, no matter where we are. | Posted: 23 Sep 2019 05:39 AM PDT So I upgraded ios13 today on my iPhone 8 and suddenly absolutely nothing is working: Apps like Facebook, Instagram, Maps.me all just sit on the loading screen and then crash. Youtube gets to the splash screen and is frozen. I cannot even reset my settings within the general settings - I click on the reset button to go to the next page and it freezes on that. I would receive my non imessage texts with a delay usually ranging from 5 min to like 30. I just got the 8 plus and the problem went away from a few days, but now it has returned again. | iOS 13: How to select/delete multiple Photos in iMessage? Posted: 23 Sep 2019 01:17 AM PDT Hey. Just last week I have cleared up some space by going into my imessage chats attachments, long-pressing on a photo, then I could "select" and delete multiple photos at once in order to free up many GB's of space. Now I have installed iOS 13 and I don't seem to be able to select multiple photos anymore (in order to delete) in my imessage chats. When I long press a photo it now opens the photo and doesn't give me a "select" option. I can't believe they ditched this feature as it would make the process of clearing up space easily 10-20 times slower. I'm sure there's a solution for this. Just have not found it.
